    They still haze like crazy if you take a look when you use the wipers sure it disapears but it's annoying. I have the same issue after using a ceramic coating on my glass and also after using Turtle wax ceramic spray. Tried 99% isopropyl alcohol. degreaser, Vinegar and it still streaks or hazes.

    My BMW’s wipers drive me crazy when it rains. So squeaky. I heard you can try and reset the wipers positions with the bolts, but if that doesn’t work, I’ll try this! My wipers are cheap, not sure if that’s the cause too...

    • @MasteringHow-To
      @MasteringHow-To  Před 2 lety

      Don’t unbolt and reset. That won’t fix the issue. Get bosh wiper blades. They are a little expensive. But they’re amazing.

    I have done this process excluding the razor blade step and as always as the rainx and the wax get pushed back and forth there is a hazy build up then on the windshield and then shortly there after it starts up again with the squeaking noises. Then there is also a hazy build up on the windshield from the wax. I have tried every brand of wiper blades from cheap to top of the line. Nothing seems to work. Anyone have any suggestions besides taking out the windshield and wearing a scuba mask while driving in the rain?

    • @MasteringHow-To
      @MasteringHow-To  Před 2 lety

      Ok so the razor blade is very important. Remember glass is porous.. dirt gets trapped in the pores of the glass. So whatever you apply won’t work as well. I own a car wash and have been detailing for 20 years. So chemicals are my specialty. When detailing you always need to clay bar before paint correction. That’s to stop the dirt and road grime that’s trapped in the pores of the clear coat to be buffed into the car. So the razor blade method is to basically bring you back to a smooth surface. They this. Then alcohol. Remove all oils. Then you can clean the blades and apply a really good wax. Don’t use a old school wax that has carnuba. That’s probably what’s causing it to steak. Use the newer sealants on the market or ceramics. Those won’t streak. I use jet seal from chemical guys. Honestly once I hit 25mph I don’t use wipers. A light rain meaning the mist. Yes that won’t blow off. But watch and see how your visibly improves 70% if not more! Hope this helps

    Put anything on wiper blades is a bad idea as I have tried it before. It creates streaking and smearing as you can see on your windshield.

      @@AnishGandhiburger Not at all. So you’re telling me any type of noise over a hard surface is scratching? The noise is hard rubber being run over a smooth surface. The glass is 100% not being scratched. Wipers won’t scratch glass. Unless the rubber peels or breaks off. That exposes the hard plastic. Then that can scratch.
