На самом деле у кошек не бывает такой привязанности к родителям, тем более к отцу. Маленький котёнок ещё может тянуться к маме, потому что она его кормит, вылизывает и т.п. А кошачий отец... Обычно коты его и не знают. Да, может, это и не отец, а просто дохлый кот. Может просто котику жалко погибшего товарища. Эмпатия у животных ещё бывает.

The fact that they weren’t actually related at all and the dad was suffering from a painful illness but protected the baby, and after he died the baby groomed and tried to wake up the dad 😭 this relationship is better than some human ones, so I don’t want to hear anybody say cats are heartless - I’m going to immediately show them this video!

Although it's a super sad video to watch, on the bright side I do think cats grieve differently than humans, and move on much quicker than us. damn, this really hits close to home man.. i had a single father all my life & he got lung cancer/cirrhosis when i was 15. he had to raise me on his own and worked everyday as a brick mason (bringing oxygen tank to work) until he physically couldn't anymore & passed shortly after.. he was the greatest, most loving man i've ever known. bless that daddy cat, no more pain & at peace like my dad.. i hope the kitten finds a loving home.

@@luckyrabbit5168 You can always help. Call someone else, find them a way to a shelter, give them water and a bite of meat by their outside home. Anything helps, even just water and a bit of whatever food you have on hand in an emergency like this. A bite or two of your food is quite a lot for a cat. Just make sure it doesn’t have any garlic or onions or chocolate bc that’s dangerous for them to eat. Even just putting a bowl of water outside can help save lives of animal friends.

I don't understand people who think that animals don't feel anything. They feel and understand everything perfectly. Love, care, bitterness of loss, joy of life. They are familiar with all emotions and experiences, they just like people need care and kindness. It inspires me that there are people in this world who help homeless animals, who are given a second chance at a good life.

I dont usually cry but this video made me have the most heartbreaking moment of my life....
Interesting how this video popped up on my feed, but I am fluent in Korean, so here’s my piece of humanity to share:
1. The dead kitty isn’t the actual parent-he adopted the kitten after seeing the real parent kitty pass from getting hit by a motorcycle.
2. Young lady w/ glasses who stumbled upon the scene said that she observed as the dead kitty when alive, fed and protected the kitten.
3. Upon examining the dead kitty’s body, the vet found multiple cancerous tumors, plus, a very bad heart disease, and remarked that dead kitty must’ve been in excruciating pain, so he’s amazed that dead kitty did all those things for kitten while in that state.
4. When the vet examined kitten, found that they’re very healthy. :)
FYI-humans are 100% in no way, shape, or form above animals. Animals are incredibly sentient beings and deserve respect.

I want everyone to realize that that’s not its parent, if you didn’t watch the video, that’s just a really kind cat that was protecting the little one from other cats who were harassing it... it’s even more sad!
