Obviously, since he knows firsthand (after Joe Rogan was bogus af- for bum-rushing him immediately after his loss in the fight with Jones) how fighters are still very much raw and alil too emotional, directly after their fights. So he first, acknowledges them to their audience for their accomplishment, and then chooses to respect them by Not putting him/her into a potentially uncomfortable or 'damaging' situation, by forcing an interview with them so soon after their fight.
*Don't know him personally (duh,lol), but ive never seen nor read nothin, dat makes me think anything other than- he seems like he's 'real' (dats rare commodity thes daz) & prob pretty cool cat to 'boys' wit)
