    If you still have this car, could you do a speed run video please? I have the same car and it's fast but I'm sure a man of your calibre can get this tuned well so we have a ballpark on how fast we can get ours going. Great video and great channel. You deffo know your stuff.

    I have one of these, and it was running fine through the first 1.5 tanks of break in and after that it was running rough, would stall and would sound extremely lean even though the needles were on the factory settings

    • @TheRCBiker
      @TheRCBiker  Před 3 lety

      Just because it's on factory settings doesn't mean it's lean. I actually find these Force engines do tend to be set quite lean on the low end. Richen it out

    • @alexcarlson2171
      @alexcarlson2171 Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks! I also find that there are bubbles in the fuel line, which usually indicates that there is air getting in, usually through the tank, and I think that there is a fuel pressure issue because of it

    • @alexcarlson2171
      @alexcarlson2171 Před 3 lety +1

      Naturally, I tried richening it from the beginning and it had almost zero impact on the way the engine ran. That’s why I think it’s a leak somewhere in the fuel system

    • @TheRCBiker
      @TheRCBiker  Před 3 lety +1

      No not too bad for this one :) You'll always find the parts, just sometimes you have to back order them and they take a while to arrive

    I flogged the motor on this. Plastic melted so upgraded to an LRP brand. Had to update all the diff gears to hardened steel haha. Replaced all electronics. Don't get me wrong I love this car but I'd go for the Losi 8 if I was going to buy another one.

    • @TheRCBiker
      @TheRCBiker  Před 3 lety

      You can't really compare the two, Losi 8ight is totally different league and 3 times the price, the Trophy is an RTR car :)

      @@TheRCBiker yeah I know haha but the money I've spent on my trophy truggy is more than the Losi haha. I wonder if my upgraded trophy truggy would compare to the Losi 8
