Herrera is incredibly strong, I managed to hunt a sub adult Tenonto that was being protected by 2 adults as a solo Herrera today and the sub adult died to bleed.
good job I am stil waiting to get pounced as an adult carno, cera or teno. I want to see how much damage it actually does. it feels pretty strong. I mean, you can oneshot an omni as far as I know. that's a lot of damage
@@da.mombie It can also one shot Dilos if you land a max height pounce on the head if I'm remembering right, if not it will probably bleed them out pretty easily.
@@alunaticwithashotgun9840 jeez, that's a lot of damage. dilo weighs 700 kg, so, even a headshot needs about 350 damage. that's a lot for such a tiny predator
@@da.mombie I mean yea, Herrera may be tiny in comparison to most things in The Isle, but it's still a 170kg animal, realistically speaking 170kg of weight dropping from a 30m+ height would kill even thereally massive animals, specially if it drops on their heads so I think it does make sense for it to do that much damage.
Also if it really does one shot a Dilo it has to do 475 damage at least. Which would mean that it would only take 2 headshots to kill a Cera with the max heigh/damage, and 3 to kill a Carno.

10:00 These look like the same Ceras you ambushed earlier in the forest 6:30, when the dark one got you underwater. One light, one grey and one dark. Size also makes sense.
For walking off the ledges, try walking nearly parallel to the edge and when you are about to walk off, turn towards it with your dino and the camera while holding RMB. You can practice it on 90% steep low-ish ledges first until you get the hang of it, it is quite easy. Just don't do it for real in front of inexperienced Herras, unless you are tired of their company xD
yeah, I think they were the same. at least I didn't get killed by the same twice ok thx, I will try that, even if I am not quite sure if I get what you mean. what is the outcome? to hang down at the ledge or just fall down to the ground? because, you always hang with RMB. no matter what angle you walk off the ledge. if you mean to fall down, thne it is very interesting. as I struggle to just fall off edges without using stam for RMB and jump off.
@@da.mombie Oh, I thought you failed to latch there. I would never walk off without checking for the leg break symbol xD. I'll see if there is a way to drop off without jumping. Never tried to find it out

it's really a fun dino to play. climbing and jumping off heights is so enjoyable
I thought about ambushing as herra in that river cave, sad to see it didn't work out. At least you got to jump on the carno! That was such a clean kill on the deer on the hill. Sad you got stuck in the cera at the end
I can still recommend that cave. I was just unlucky with too big dinos entering. there are also frogs and goats as little snack in between. in general the whole area around that cave is very nice. many good trees and quiet busy yeah, that deer was nice. like in my good old sniper days in OFP CWC well, the end was just stupid
5:00 I think I’ve seen that pachy before. Was that on eu 1? Cause if it was that pschy usually travels with another mate and kill everything they come across (aggro pachys I know shocker)
this was on EU4. first I thought it was the dilo murder who came back to the crime scene, but, it might have been friendly and I misjudged it. that t-bag might have been friendly, 'cause it also 2called later on. but, I can't say. I could have done this mate wrong tho on the other hand, it ran at me with head up, so

Cera has the highest swim speed of any carno (except deino ofc) you have to dive the soon as possible or you're meal 😅🤣

I love to try local food when I travel. so, I tried them once in Paris. they even were pretty expensive. but, it was like eating a toothpick (meat) from another toothpick (bones). way too less meat to even get a proper taste. I don't know. it felt very overrated I might have been unlucky tho, as some French mates told me that many restaurants in Paris serve bad food. you know, tourists and so on

Friendly Dilo players? What sort of witchcraft is this? What a beautiful view of that sunset/sunrise. Herreras and Pteras get the best views. Too bad you didn't get a chance to do a second pounce on that Pachy, you probably would have killed him with the updated damage. You had bigger balls than brain going after the biggest Cerato. Probably should have went for the closer left one, pounced and ran back up the tree for a reattack. Did that pounce on the Carno in the cave when you fell into the water even do any damage? Lol at you climbing the shortest palm tree ever after pouncing the Cerato. Hats off to him for holding his own against 4 Tenos. Massive facepalm at you getting killed a second time after trying to hide in the water.
true, these two offer the best views. I was with herra on a mountain where you see over the river delta to the swamp in the distance. unfortunately it was night and I only saw it at moonshine. I have to go up there during the day and show that scene. looked already awesome at night
yes, the carno was bleeding. I scent later on because I was also wondering yeah, my plan was to retreat through the water. which turned out to be a bad choice and yeah, I found the most tiny tree on the isle

Ive never eaten frogs but I have eaten Alligator meat if prepared good the meat is delicious unfortunately who made my gator meat probably wasnt a professional and the meat was Grisly...but i ate it all waste not I say. Herrera looks so much fun.
we had an Mongolian restaurant which served crocodile. can't say if it was an alligator, but, it was very tasty frog legs on the other hand are tiny. it feels like you eat a toothpick (meat) off another toothpick (bones) yeah, herra is amazing. probably the most fun dino by now
@@da.mombie Depending on where your from more likely you have crocs where your at so you have Crocodile which i wanna try now 😋, Im from Texas so we have Alligators hopefully i get a good cook for my gator steaks or just prepare it myself and make skewered gator with balsamic vinager mushrooms, and make some cajun fries for my side
@@pantherinthedarknessPandra well, in europe we have no crocs at all as far as I know. for sure not in central europe where I live. so, it was imported from somewhere. it was a Mongolian restaurant. do they have crocs there? dunno to be honest but it tasted good your side dishes sound tasty as well Texas is famous for their BBQ, isn't it?

we eat more pork than beef at a BBQ tho. many sausages or cevapcici and also many chicken and fish

Where is that cave at? It looks perfect
at about LAT -148, LONG 355. best to find if you spawn at the east plains and go pretty much west to the big building (dome). then just run around that building till you find a river which is directly nearby (there is also a bridge you can't miss if you run around the dome). the beginning of this river is the cave

Not very fast, it swims slower than stuff like Cera or Teno but unlike most, it can dive.

I like pork, too but, I like to mix it up a lot. chicken, beef, pork, fish and there are also good meals without any meat
