    Since 1969 I have been a Calvin Peete fan, he was a great golfer and an even better man. We are the same age within a few months. I was age 24 when I first began following Calvin, I miss him so much.

      I never met him and am only 36 but I miss him too. Would have loved to have met him. Sounds like such a nice man

    IMHO timing the release becomes tricky when you pause the hips and shoulders at the top. During the transition the shoulders should continue turning back as the weight shifts to the front foot. Done properly it becomes impossible to release the club too early . Calvin had this wonderful transition as most great players past and present. Yes there are a few pausers, especially on the women's tours but that IMO is very difficult to master but it works for this 2 time world amateur champ :)

      Yes, she a junior on the USC Trojans team. She just won a PGA Junior event in Southern California shooting 7 under in a one round tournament.
