I found this cat to be an amazing little car for my needs. The safety features and hybrid engine fuel economy are required. Driving it was sweet smooth, with good turning radius, and adequate power for this safety sense driver. You can’t beat Toyota for reliability and longevity, so it will be a perfect hand me down for upcoming teens with anxious parents. I just wish there were more around to buy. Go Toyota! I really like this one. Perfect size. Its slightly bigger than the original RAV4. The fact that its all wheel drive and hybrid with the latest hybrid technology straight from the latest Prius power plant makes this the leader in this segment. What are the top 10 in this segment?

It’s priced where the RAV4 used to be priced! The RAV4 hybrid will start you a round $34k now. Ridiculous!!! It’s also only e-all wheel drive! Pretty weak in certain conditions! The Crosstrek has a far superior AWD system,,but unfortunately less mpg and hp!

It won't be as affordable when Toyota dealers tack on their usual $3,000 to $10,000 dealer markup. I was just shopping a regular Corolla Cross and that's what I found at literally every Toyota dealer from Sacramento to the Bay Area.

i have a corolla cross with 2.0 engine. i use extreme driving style to get 5.0L/100km, which is 47MPG. i never go over 100km/h, seldom let the engine go over 2500rpm when accelerating and hyper mill when ever possible. so l smile when i see the gas pump, and its a different kind of fun to squeeze for MPG.

Why didn’t they just call it the new C-HR, because that’s what it is, a slightly larger version, based on the same platform. Honda didn’t change the name of its HR-V when they redesigned it, enlarged it and gave it four traditional doors. Toyota has a reputation for using too many words in their model names. When they introduced the Camry, they called it Celica Camry. This is not a Corolla. Everybody knows what a Corolla is because it’s the bestselling car in the world.
