That NIL Drip
Yall left out Dajuan Wagner
Hear me out, this guy was so ahead of his time. He was mad talented and he could easily fit in today’s game. So happy to get the chance to hear more from him
No doubt he was talented the question was always his motor. I watched him alot on the knicks. Sometimes he looked amazing while others he kinda just fell back into the offense.
💯💯💯
No lies told
I agree 💯
Agreed
Meet Tim twice ... once when he was with the knicks , my stepdad was part of the audio staff at the garden , I went to help out as a 16yr old young man should ... I was shooting around (after being told specifically not to shoot ) and I shot like 2/3 times before Allan Houston and Tim came out for their shoot around ... they passed me the ball and rebounded some shots before I respectfully got off their court ... second time Tim always came back to Paterson nj where I used to get sneakers at ... he always went to main ave and the local stores to cop sneakers and fitteds ... he had the drop top Bentley on main ave in the hood , dapped a bunch of us up and kept it pushing ... jersey legend !
Came here for the Kobe stories but stayed for the other ones as well. Great episode
ME... TOO😊
I came for tha Ai stories
Shout out Tim Thomas sending kids to school through basketball. Love the game.
AAU team with Kobe, Tim Thomas, Vince Carter and Rip Hamilton 😂😂😂 Thats Wild
"KOBE BATTLES" needs to be its segment or something
Thatd be fiyyaaaa if yall did a kobe versus series!!

@@AllTheSmokeProductions yezzur!!! Good looks, somehow I missed this vid! I appreciate it🙌🏾
Tim Thomas was well before his time. Straight balla
Tim Thomas on the court was a poor man's Lamar Odom
Not a bad comparison but he was way better than LO
@jonez5454 LO's rings and stats tell a different story
Tim Thomas had probably more potential but Lamar Odom reached more of his
@@islander5858 I don't disagree
I’m from Paterson New Jersey and I played Baseball and Basketball With Tim he’s a inspiration and I’m glad I got too see this episode
Shoutout to Tim Thomas always representing his hometown Paterson NJ ❤
Love the way there is always a Kobe story to share on this channel. Thank you, both of you
It is clearly to clickbait for views since they know people will click on and watch. But I do respect how much respect and praise they have for Kobe and make sure to remind everyone how insanely good Kobe really was top 3 at LEAST
Cmon fellas!! My man Tim Thomas got 1hr of yalls time. Man deserves more Podcast time.
Gratitude for sharing.
That 2001 Bucks Team was stellar
They were.......untill Bubba chuck in that game 7
Thomas broke my heart as a kid when he hit that 3 against my Lakers in the 06 playoffs. So close to pulling off the upset
I remember that one. A few years later lakers got revenge on that artest putback. There was a brief moment of joy after Kobe missed the 3 that was quickly squashed by artest. :(
Facts!!
@@sulfurousstenchnot really an upset when suns no.1 scorer wasn’t playing the whole series, artest was really crucial specially against suns and celtics defending pierce
I still remember that game 6. Kobe had 50 and they couldn’t get one rebound to close that game.
@@marksines1246they were still a good team though with Nash, Marion , barbosa, diaw. Besides Kobe and Lamar the lakers sucked . It would be a upset
Damn son where'd you find this.. Tim Thomas was a baller
Man, I was so high on this dude coming out of Villanova back in 97 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yeah man, same for sure. he def looked like a star
Im from Philly. Grew up near LaSalle College. 1995/96 Had the privilege to be a ball boy in the summers for pick up games/shoot arounds they use to have at LaSalle. Saw young Kobe, Tim Thomas, Lynn Greer, etc
Tim Thomas is the pioneer the players today 6’10 with a 3 ball and handle.
People really need to go back and look at Tim Thomas coming out of high school. Best player in the class of 1996 and it was not close. Love Kobe and he had the better career and became the better player. Tim was ahead of his time.
kobe was very nasty in 96, as much as i love tims game no one was seeing kobe, at all
That's definitely 💯!!! 👑 Tim Thomas was a problem for NJ!!!! 😂😂 I'm from Newark and witnessed his career. Excellent service to mankind!!!
Aye man tim thomas was def nice. 6'9 6'10 had real game
He definitely had real game but the real ones know what he didn't reach his full potential. He could've had a better career than say Lamar Odom but I think his work ethic wasn't up to par.
@@lilpenny1982 watching him play in the NBA was so frustrating. He was a very good player who seemed like he could've been an instant all-star with more dedication and effort. Always seemed lackadaisical on the court, burning flashes of effort looked like Tracy mcgrady.
@gregyoung2957 I think he should've stayed in college for one more year to improve his fundamentals. I felt like Tim Thomas was just relying on his physical gifts rather his fundamentals or basketball IQ
@@gregyoung2957but tmac might looked lackluster with the sleepy eyes lol but he was DEFINITELY cooking you 😂😂 b4 the injury
Tim Thomas was really good but I think he would have been even better in this era.
Love the interview. It is great when a person comes in and can really articulates their thoughts. He is really humble.
I still like it. I like the way they go through people's whole story.
his clutch 3 to tie in game 6 2006 vs the lakers is too damn underrated. if he misses the lakers win the series.... the fact that he made the 3 probably ate kobe alive tbh. always wondered what he thought about that RIP
Same. You know it did
Stack has much love and respect for Tim, it shows and it's wonderful to see 🙂
Briscoe!!! Top 5 from jersey. That man was TUFF !!!!
Legend 💪🏿
Damn Jack we know you could ball. So could everyone else y’all have had on the podcast. No need to take it personal.
Exactly
@BigJessMusic but do you think he should've won McDonalds All American game MVP tho? 🤔🤔
@@tzetzat maybe so but can’t change it now.
@@tzetzatlol
He probably thinks if he won the MVP his career would've been different. But at the end of the day he made the league had a good run and that's more than ALOT of us who've ever picked up a basketball.
Tim Thomas one of the most talented dudes to ever touch a ball! #jerseyfinest
Tim Thomas is a vibe
this was the interview we needed !!!
#JerseyHoopers
Tim Thomas ~ was
N I C E !
One of the best HS talents I’ve seen. I’ve seen a lot especially East coast guys. I can remember that AAU team, matched up against a Baltimore team that had a slew of D-1 players.
I remember thinking the kid Kobe was a straight prophet from the book of Himothy ~ lol. Nah. His mentality THEN was light years ahead of anyone else. There was some DAWGS in that era of AAU~ I think that was the last great era of High School/AAU under the “old” system…. It’s totally different now~
and I can remember the tall kid with a smooth handle and soft jumper.
Game was effortless!
Caught Tim Thomas , Kevin Freeman snd and quite a few Jersey, Philly guys in high school, when the top schools would match up with other top schools up and down the East Coast.
Different era, great times, produced and introduced some great talent to the game.
Those Bucks teams were lit! shoutout to hometown Sam Cassell, my peer, who was the first person to “bust my ass” (pause) in a basketball game.
A funny memory of how mad my coach was at me for fouling him twice and leading to consecutive and -ones, talking about he (Cassell) wasn’t “that” good.
I was like coach, you fucking guard him then!
The thing is Sam talked shit, he told me when I got in the game and pressed him 3/4 court~ “you ain’t going to stop me from getting to my spots “
Well, he was right, literally picked up two fouls in less than 5 minutes, subbed right back out. 😂
Tim Thomas is the epitome of lazy with SO MUCH TALENT!! Man o Man!! I watched this guy GET DOWN on the court. Post, Pass, Shoot, Rebound AND Push the Rock! But he played NO DEFENSE! When you play in an era we’re post defense is necessary it’s hard to on the court and get max deals when you lack that effort. God Bless Tim man, great player, and enjoyed watching him play.
Tim Thomas was really him! Man he would be perfect and a max contract player in todays game easily
Great show and interview fellaz.
Phenomenal interview very informative salute 💯
Dope Interview!!!!
dope interview!
They keep fire 🔥 interviews …
Nice that they got Tim Tim Thomas.
Jersey 🔥
Dam Tim much love to you big bro putting in work with the youth..most definitely salute..
indeed Tim Thomas was a solid a very solid player
I was a fan of TT since his time in the mean streets of Trillwaulkee lol. I used to play with the Bucks in NBA Live, I was LEGENDARY 😂. Glad to hear his story and see he's still doing well AND reppin NJ 🙌🏾
Salute!! Great to see Tim!!
Matt: Your AAU Program produce any NBA
Tim Thomas: 28 of them, 20 McDonald's All Americans & sent 15,000 kids to College from the game of Basketball
That's Crazy 👏
Having that resume n the league not having him employed is wild
Love this episode. TT had game!!!!!
One of my favorite players growing up. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💯💯💯💯
Great interview
I love Tim always repping our hometown Paterson, NJ 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
You're a real dude Tim Thomas salute to you brother
Tim Thomas is on of my favorite bigs. Used to love watching him play
Tim put Paterson, NJ on the map while in the NBA. LEGEND
How about William Carlos Williams and Jim Jarmusch? ;)
I loved the advice Tim gave to the young hoopers out there. Listen to the man. Also these former pros are always willing to give advice and share knowledge. They've done their time so they're not competing with you. Just want to see the game in a good place.
Underappreciated legend... grew up hearing whispers about him
TT wit the Suns was super Fun to Watch!! His nephew TJ up next I swear…
Good show. 👏🏻
Tim was clutch 🔥💯
As a die hear laker fan during thise suns vs lakers bsttles especially in the playoffs was wild bht man Tim was lethal from 3🔥
Tim Thomas was definitely a beast in high school. I felt his best position in college and the pros was power forward.
Legend 🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
NJ STAND UP!!!
A good brother from New Jersey who is giving back to Jersey through sports and education Salute my brother 🏀
Enjoyed the episode 😂😂
Tim Thomas got mad love in Phoenix! 🌵🔥🏀
In high school, Tim was "that one"; he dominated every player he faced and was deservedly regarded as elite. He was a man among boys. At the professional level, he was, quite frankly, a disappointment when you consider his projected trajectory to superstardom vs. the reality of averaging 12 and 5 over the course of his career and never even making an All-Star team.
I hear you. Coming outta H.S it seems dude was destined for the Hall Of Fame. Career was mediocre at best, but at least he made it.
Tim Thomas, Legendary and Mythical
Rip Hamilton from Coatsville. Not Philadelphia. Koby was from. Lower Marion. NOT PHILADELPHIA!
Koby is spelt KOBE. People make mistakes playa.
Lower Marion isn't that school in Philly ?
@jorjiosam technically it's Pennsylvania
@@d.felixphoto2260that playa misspelled Coatesville and Merion too.
@@user-qz8yx8vg8s he was all bad. Lol 😆 🤣 😂
FINALLY!
Been waiting for the Jackson I know. 👊👊👊👊
Big Jerz!!
Jersey baby
Been waiting to hear from T1T
9:30 Sonny episode gotta be a movie
One of my favorite SportsCenter moments was when Tim Thomas was with the Knicks I forgot who it was but the SportsCenter guy said "Knicks go to Tim Thomas for 3... we go to overtime!"
Thats pretty awesome bro
Was always a fan,absolute baller!!!
Was that the first or second time you were in 10th grade 😂 y’all wild. Tim T is a BALLERRRR
Giid interview Tim was the man when he played in Villanova, and on top of that, he played with future legends in kobe and RIP WHAAAT! that Milwaukee team he was in was tough when a.i. team beat them. Shout out to the O.G. Tim dog.
This is still the best basketball podcast years later. No clout chasing to be seen, no performances, always good
Sounds like an all around good person. He's helped a bunch of kids make the pros and continue with their college efforts.I believe he could be a very good NBA Coach.
Bro was nice in his day
Another 10 years he’s drafted and he’s a top star
BIG JERSEY! Remember the summer of 2000 before I went to college, seeing Timmy TEE driving in front of me on Elm St in Montclair in the pearl white Bentley Azure drop-top with the iced Roley hanging out the door lmao. I know it sounds groupie-ish but when you grow up playing ball and you see a hometown kid DOING it…; 🫡🤙🏾💜 #973
Yes sir Paterson stand up.
Man… this is a classic episode… Tim Thomas was nasty back in the day…
Plus I’m from queens… they brought up Shaheen Holloway? Shaheen was NASTY back in the day… I can’t believe I forgot about him! Those were my heroes when I was young
Living in the Bronx i used to go to ABCD Camp every year. Saw Lebron, Melo ( only played ONE game), Lenny Cooke, Sebastian Telfair, O.J Mayo, Greg Oden, Kevin Love and countless others, but NOBODY had a 1st day like Anthony Perry (22:36). Dude was about 6'2" but he gave ppl the BUSINESS in 1997 ( I think). He was unstoppable that first day at camp.
New Jersey Icon!!
Top 3
Tim Thomas
Rodrick Rhoades
DeJuan Wagner
Hands down.cant argue! Stop it!!
he is one of my favorite back in the days, he's like a big kobe
Tim Thomas was my guy!!! I'm from Jersey and I was a baller before him in the 70's.i saw him multiple times in Jersey, Maryland, etc. College vs Georgetown. He is my favorite ALL-TIME player from Jersey!!! Number 3 from PC!!
Linden in the house!!! Troy Stradford, Daryl Devero, Calvin Duncan. Stand up!! Nothing but fire!!! Brian Taylor Perth Amboy.
Tim Thomas you gotta mention Dejuan Wagner. He one of the best from NJ.
That whole Wagner trio starting with Milt who actually was ranked ahead of MJ in 1980-81
finally lets go!
Chester High(Chester, PA) was the thorn in Kobe and RIP Hamilton’s side back in 95 and 96.
Man I grew up not far from NJ and Tim Thomas, Kobe Bryant, Dajuan Wagner, Rip Hamilton names rang bells. But Tim Thomas was like the top baller I remember. JR Smith name started ringing bells too but that was later.
Damnn...left out the word.... NEED
Michigan Legend Jabrill Peppers played for Paramus Catholic.
Met Tim before in Woodland Hills. Dude was cool af.
Tim is killing that water, sheeeeeshh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
96-98 AAU Children's Mercy Hospital 76ers with the rush brothers & were Corey Maggette, Korleone Young and Andre Williams.as one of the greatest aau team!
You guys need to get Derrick Coleman on the show. Underrated enforcer!! 💪🏽
NOW YOU TALKING!!! One of the most COMPLETE players ever. 6'10" and did it ALL. Handle, post up. Range to 20', Blocked shots, passed and DUNKED on Shaq!!!
derrick had too much game, talent off the charts
Tim Thomas was 🔥🔥🔥 especially when he had the Young Dolph Fro/Fade…they kinda favor each other too.
Jersey Man... WE DIFFERENT!!!
