Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is under pressure to confront his Chinese counterpart, President Xi Jinping, over an incident in the Yellow Sea that saw a Chinese fighter jet allegedly drop flares on an ADF helicopter.
"While there were no injuries sustained by ADF personnel or damage caused to the MH-60R helicopter, the safety and wellbeing of our ADF personnel continues to be our utmost priority," the Defence Department said in a statement.
