Hi there! My name is Maneetpaul Singh, but my friends call me Maneet (pronounced muh-neet).
I'm based out of NYC and make CZcams videos about Book Tech and digital reading.
Think of me like the MKBHD of books đ
I'm also a Sikh with a love for blue turbans. If you want to learn more about Sikhi and why I look the way I do, check out this short documentary I made: âą THEY CALLED ME OSAMA (...
Whenever youâre ready, here are a few other ways I can help you:
1. Read a new book with me every month
At the start of every month, Iâll announce a new nonfiction book Iâm going to read. Every week after that, Iâll email you one lesson Iâve learned from the book and a discussion question to help us reflect on it. Join me and 1,000+ other bookworms in the Presently Reading community: go.maneetpaul.com/presently-r...
2. Check out the books Iâve written
Outside of CZcams, Iâm also an author. I write short books on topics that relate to digital reading, but also self development. You can find my books here: go.maneetpaul.com/books
If you want to get in touch, you can also email me hello@maneetpaul.com

this is prob the best kindle youtube channel ever existed.
Absolutely!
For sure
You just solidified my choice to purchase a Kindle. Thanks for the insightful video.
Maneet, Thanks for this video. It was organized, concise, and very helpful.
Another BANGER of a video!! I also really like the transitions you added
Thanks so much Jonah!!
Hey, just discovered your channel - absolutely amazing. One of the best channels I have come across !!! Thank you.
Just wanted to say that this video is well made! It is clean, simple, concise, and good quality. There are so many videos out there are just people rambling and I appreciate how to the point you are.
Thanks so much for the kind words!!
I like the bit on Drafts as I have resorted to Kindle Audio and take notes while listening. Great tip Manee!
I bought a kindle because of you my friend thanks you so much
Thanks for these Videos Singh Sahib Ji
Readwise is an incredible app along with its Reader companion. Iâm all in on it yearly with a subscription. Totally worth it. Iâm replying to your weekend email now!!! Haha
El tip 10 fue mi favorito đ
I'll have to see if Kobo also exports notes. I now have a few notes from different books so I should now see what my options are for exporting (that won't be hard to find).
I like the idea for audiobooks too. I don't have an apple watch, but I do have a small voice recorder that I use for work. I could use that while listening to audiobooks, then transfer the recordings to computer, and either make written notes on the notes, or let a dictation program write them out.
I found doing a book review helped with me retaining the things I read in a book. I started a blog at the beginning of Covid doing nonfiction book reviews. I haven't done anything for about a year now as my schedule became busy again; but of those books I reviewed I still easily remember the main points within it. And when i want to refresh my memory, I just jump back and reread them (which I did a few times when something relevant came up during a discussion with a friend and I wanted to make sure I was quoting things correctly).
Writing blog posts is a GREAT way to retain what you read. Thanks for sharing your experience with this, Chris!
Thxx bro
Just subscribe learning a lot you have great videos well done. I'm new to Kindle and Kobo. Question: I followed your video and I get no EXPORT NOTES ?? I have a new Signature Kindle does it not have this? Thank you
I mostly read my own pdfs and it doesn't show the export button there. Is there something you can suggest?
Hello brother my kindle just doesn't show me the option "Export Notes" 3:11, I have te Kindle 10th generation, do you know how I can fix this?
Great video
Thnak you!
Hi Maneetpaul!!! Awesome video, I'm looking to purchase a Kindle and this is a deciding factor for me. Quick Q: are these note-taking features only available on the Kindle Oasis?
Note taking is the same on all the Kindles! Except for the Scribe. That thing is an entirely different experience. I have a whole video about it if you want to learn more.
he option "Export Notes" 3:11 doesnt work anymoreÂĄ?
thank you :)
Thanks for watching!
I canât see a clippings on my kindle. Iâve made lots of notes but donât know how to access them?
Hi , is there a way to take notes on pdf files ?
Can we write hand written notes?
I have a Kindle but it's very slow. đ I need to find an ebook reader that supports a stylus as highlighting notes with my finger is too time-consuming.
Hopefully Kindle will make something soon. But Kobo has some great options now!
@@Maneetpaul can you suggest a budget eBook reader for a PhD research scholar who have to read many journal in pdf format? It will be great if note taking option is also there.
Is there a way to do immersive reading on a kindle ?
What do you mean? The reading experience is already immersive, thereâs no distraction from notifications etc.
If you mean listen to audio while reading at the same time, I'm not too sure. I haven't tried this yet myself, but it's on my list to investigate.
