Ex-CIA Officer Speaks Out: The Italian Job

  • Sabrina De Sousa is one of nearly two-dozen CIA officers who was prosecuted, convicted, and sentenced by Italian courts in absentia in 2009 for the role she allegedly played in the rendition of a radical cleric named Abu Omar. It was the first and only criminal prosecution that has ever taken place related to the CIA's rendition program, which involved more than 100 suspected terrorists and the assistance of dozens of European countries.
But De Sousa, a dual US and Portuguese citizen, said she had nothing to do with the cleric's abduction and has been wrongly accused. For the past decade, she has been on a global quest to clear her name. VICE News met up with De Sousa in Lisbon, Portugal--and other key figures connected to the case--for an exclusive interview about the steps she's now taking in an effort to hold the CIA accountable for one of the most notorious counterterrorism operations in the history of the agency.

Not stupid, but Brennan very dangerous, vindictive, and corrupt. Today, he's a regular on MSM as a crediable guest. He makes claims, as a former CIA leader, that lends weight to what he says. He lies and slanders POTUS. He's caught up in the spygate case to unseat a duly elected President Trump. He and James Clapper are alike in many ways. Clapper was also a frequent MSM guest. 2009: She was convicted of kidnapping for her role in the Imam rapito affair on November 4, 2009 by an Italian court, after a trial in absentia and a plea of not guilty.
2015: A European Arrest Warrant valid throughout Europe was subsequently issued for her arrest, and she was arrested in Portugal under that arrest warrant in 2015.
2016: In January 2016, she was ordered extradited to Italy, although that order will be appealed.
2016: On April 11, 2016, the Portuguese Supreme Court upheld De Sousa's extradition.
2017: In an email to the Associated Press De Souza's lawyers wrote that Portuguese authorities took her into custody on February 20, 2017, and that she would be transferred to Italian custody within a few days.
2017: On February 28, 2017, the New York Times reported that, Sergio Mattarella, the President of Italy, had commuted De Sousa's sentence, to just three years.

This is reminiscent of the most frightening book I've read : Taxi to the Dark Side. The fact that The Agency had a massive rendition program at work is one thing, the fact that (and this is the case far too often) the bigger players can't or won't simply admit or concede any failure or errors is pretty diplorable and leaves agents on the front lines, doing the hard work, with their necks out - not the best way to recruit future agents or curtail the poor worldwide opinion of America and it's operations...

To clear up a few things, one CIA is one of the largest criminal/terrorist organizations on the planet. If something has all the characteristics of a donkey and does all the things a donkey does, yet calls itself a bald eagle, it's STILL a mother f-in donkey. Sadly, naive people still fall for the good guy (bald eagle) b.s.just because it's a governmental organization. Now think about this. Former CIA field agent John Kiriakou was also a recruiter for CIA. Do you know what he said was one of the main characteristics he said recruiters are trained to look for when deciding who to recruit to the agency? Get a load of this: The potential recruit has to show narcissistic and sociopathic traits before they're recruited. I mean think about that. REALLY think about that. He said a very small percentage will do it out of patriotism. Most do it for the rush, the power, and the game/sport of it (like narcissists and sociopaths). Now REALLY think about that. One of, if not THE most powerful government entities is FILLED with narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths who could care less about patriotism. If you think CIA give a flying F**K about America's image, you're one of those people calling that donkey a 'bald eagle' still. And they will have no problem with recruiting as long as there is narcissists and sociopaths in the world. But what happens when narcissists and sociopaths have all the power, and are beholden to NO ONE?? Well, that's when you get one of the most evil criminal and terrorist organizations on the planet...like it is. Do not get it twisted. CIA is NOT your friend. They're NO ONE'S friend and they're NO COUNTRY'S servants. They're their own gang of the worst, most malignant personality types with the most vile, conniving, manipulating, sick, depraved, destructive and disgusting behavioral disorders on the planet. They literally have absolutely ZERO redeeming value on the planet and are the ACTUAL SOURCE for at least 90% of the worlds problems. It's a f**kin donkey dude...not a bald eagle. Doesn't matter how many flags and patriotism speeches it's wrapped in. It always was, and always will be, a f-in donkey. The world would be done one of it's biggest favors--in the entire history of all humanity--if the entire staff of CIA dropped dead. F**k those lowlife, parasitic pieces of s**t. And on that note, in this specific case, do I feel sorry for any agent/officer who the CIA throws under the bus?? Hell no! F em! They got what the garbage deserved. You're going to join an organization of lying, manipulating, destructive dirtbags and then cry foul when they lie and manipulate to destroy you??? Think of the insanity of that (il)logic. Plus, she's clearly one herself if she joined them. Why is it that when a group of criminal narcissistic, socio/psychopaths throw one of their own under the bus, no one bats an eyelash? But simply put a small American flag pin on the lapel of those criminals and give 'em a snazzy three letter abbreviated acronym for a name(label) and suddenly everyone loses their sh*t? Dafuq out of here! Wake up!! It's a DONKEY dude. ... A donkey.

This Portuguese Indian community, it's on the great majority: Muslim; composed of healthy merchants and business men. That are completely integrated in Portuguese community. LOL that doesnt mean crap! The human ability to recall the past has scientifically been proven unreliable. So when a persons credibility is based on the repeat, accurate recounting of important details, you write it down AND you memorize it! Even if you go to the police with a story, you write it down and rehearse it EVEN if YOU know you are 100 % innocent, because one small mistake, one omission of an important detail will make your story and credibility null and void and could open you to prosecution for submitting a false statement to police. If you have any evidence to the contrary(regarding Miss De Sousa's story, THEN you may have a complaint, but just because something sounds rehearsed means nothing.

ok; does anybody get frustrated when at 46 sec into the video they say that Milan granted asylum to refugees which caused a home grown insurgency? this is crazy; I mean I am all for helping people but I think countries need to stay strong and united culturally and politically in order to survive, let alone thrive. and letting so many foreigners into your country, who aren't willing to assimilate into society, creates pockets of social and political and even religious disunity. So WHY are they allowing so many refugees into Europe? its only going to create a hot mess, in my opinion I think they should help them to America because the US is already a melting pot, most people not being native to the US, and they should only send those who are willing to assimilate into their home country's society. Oh I am American btw, and want to help people as much as the next guy, but you have to think about the consequences to the host countries as well.

" there is a very good advise"? wtf does that even mean? sounds just like the guy that called me from India last week. he wanted to speak to Raquel. I told him she had the number before me and I've had the number for last five years. the way he asked for my last and first name was incomprehensible. I think he asked for"good" name and my"sire"name. so I grinned and knew I was about to have some fun with this clown. I used a character name from an old, famous John Steinbeck book and movie. went right over his head. then he tells me he's from the social security agency something and he's very concerned about my social security activities. I was so struggling to contain my laughter. so I confronted him. he called looking for Raquel which is a female name, he obviously hears a deep man's from me, he only learned of my"name"2 mins ago yet the reason he called me was about his concern of my social security activity. I told him1, you didn't even know my"name"before you called, 2, you don't even know how to ask what a person's name is in English, and 3, there is no such thing as a social security agency. then I asked him, which part of India is calling from? lo and behold! his full Indian accent came out when he tried to pronounce" f_you mofo".I died laughing in his ear. he was still on so asked for how many years did he enjoy his daddy up his butt while humping the village blind goat. he repeated his attempted curse words again so I asked if he practicing his dirty talk on me because he finally married the blind goat and she loves it when he talks dirty. after I asked who smells worse, him or the goat, he hung up Lol!!!!!

If you are innocent why would u flee instead of fighting and collaborating with justice? I mean you are in Italy, not in the US so you are granted at least a certain level of independence of the judges from the CIA. I am not saying she is a culprit, this has to be proven, but i can't see how this interview can help us understand as the only point of view we have is hers. And with no evidence in support of it.

No evidence, no information about the opposing party's opinion... we only know "they have solid proof". For what about Sousa we don't even know that. That was my point. ***** this was a full featured lord of the rings sized trial saga so hard to say at this point (the kidnapping happened long ago). It's a matter of principles for us of course, extraordinary renditions are for europeans a violation of human rights. And then you know italians.. for an italian the simple the fact that u have to show an ID in order to buy beer when you are 8 years old is a violation of human rights ;) Italians are very different - not better don't get me wrong, different - from people in the US and i doubt we could ever stand most of the social control measures the US put in place. Anyway there is apparently solid proof that 23 CIAs agents are guilty, de sousa being one of the few being "real" as 18 agents were in fact fake identities. It was (again apparently) CIA to stop de sousa from participating in the trial. What the defensors of the CIA agents could come up with in order to engulf the trial are technical flaws, not evidence that may exonerate de sousa. In a few words there is no evidence backing up De Sousa's claim. This is what i get from the news here in italy. What u say about her eyes is something that i thought as well while watching even tho i couldn't put it into words before you wrote it.

18:36 "CIA's rendition of Abu Omar had the consequence of completely derailing Italy's on-going investigation ...", thus preventing his arrest and prosecution (and that of his accomplices) by the Italian authorities.
Hmmm... This sounded suspicious from the moment it came out that the CIA took him to Egypt -- Omar's own country -- for the alleged interrogation and torture. Why would they do that? Perhaps to get one of their own informants/operatives out of harm's way? To keep Italy from exposing him -- and them?

I took psychology in college and another you may notice is how she presents a lack of what is called 'affect', when she speaks about her supposed 'persecution'.
Or it might be called a distorted 'affect'.
An affect is defined in psychology as the way a person comes across emotionally when they talk about something emotionally relevant to them.
Instead of presenting fear, shame or regret, anger etc, she seems to smile and have an attitude of gleeful indifference to the whole incident.
A possible sign not only that she is lying, but that she is a sociopath.
A sociopath is someone who not only pathologically lies, but seems to lack empathy.

I disagree with any government agency grabbing people off the streets because they think they are guilty of a crime. Especially agencies with a known history of lying, torture and human / organ trafficking. They should be arrested & tried as a terrorist
