I recently had to give up my 3 legged baby. There was a fight with my landlord's sister. Apparently she the is the actual owner of the house. I hope my dog is not wondering what she did wrong. I am crying while writing this. It's been a month and it still hurts. I am almost 70 years old and she was my excuse to get out and walk 3-4 times a day. I made sure she moved to a wonderful place. Perhaps I can see her again soon!

I cannot believe that you are saying what you are saying but I was doing my daily exercise and walk with my pup and across the street from us walking in the other direction and receiving loving training with treats was a 3 legged dog and a very kind man that was giving the pup the utmost respect and love and it was a touching thing to see and a humbling experience at the same time.. I don’t know what your doggy looked like but this one was lightbrown almost tan with white around the face and tummy and black nose and eyes and lips. It was a mixed bully breed but looked like it was more bully breed than anything else..l think that’s just a coincidence right that doesn’t describe what your pup looks like does it?

My husky used to do that at an outdoor pizza place we sometimes go to. He'd wait in line like everyone else (even scoot up a bit when the line was moving) and he'd stand up on two legs when he got to the counter. I'd usually get a pepperoni and plain cheese for him and I'd pay while he would go over to the window and see his pizza being cut up for him.
It's hilarious because, the cook would show him the slice he would get and put it on a plate for him. Eventually, any time I would go with him, the manager would give him his slice for free.

+breebreecakes Oh, I have many stories about my kids (they're not dogs. They're my children) Pepper was a riot. He was a Shetland boy who had a screw loose or something..but, we loved him anyway. He would literally come out of nowhere and get in your face or demand your attention. Most times, when I would be in the sitting room, reading, I'd hear him barreling down the stairs to come to a halt at my feet.
He'd ''seize'' or fake hyperventilation. I'd set my book down and say, ''Alright. *book placed on table* What is it?''
Just imagine if someone had a sneeze attack about to occur but, they're trying to say something while it's happening. That was Pepper's wind-up. The barking would start. He'd stand there for a good 20 minutes and just bark non-stop. Once he'd start to lose momentum, he would stop to cough.
''Are you done?'' I'd ask him. He would sneeze with indignation and start right where he left off.
I would sometimes mock him and put in what he was saying as he was winding up again;
''Oh no! I'm! Not! Done! I got! More! To! Say!'' I'd do a fake hiccup voice for him when his growl and wind up would go together: ''I-I'm gonna tell y-y-y-y-you right now! Wha-*gasps*W-What I have t-t-t-to say-AND I'M GONNA SAY IT! IT'S COMING!!''- And we would be there for another 20 minutes with the second round of unrelenting barks.

My pit was Molly Von Cookie the 3rd. She would wait in the kitchen doorway for me to finish making dinner. Never under my feet always just outside the kitchen, waiting patiently. Best watchdog ever. Not mean or aggressive at all. Wonderful with my grandchildren. I miss her.❤️❤️❤️

My rescue pit was about 20 pounds when I took her from her abusive owner 🥺. 10 years later & she's a solid 90 pounds 😄! I promised her that she would never go hungry again & she hasn't. When I run low on $, I cut back on eating so my pit & my cat & the stray cats can all still eat. They don't understand the need to cut back, but they know what hunger is & I won't let any of them have to starve again.

I miss my beautiful pitbull dogs. A year now. Duncan went cancer got him only 8. Kiah went a few months after...she was 14 old but I feel she lost it once Duncan left us.

Then Duncan I met a female. She brought him over he was a puppy. But one day she called me I have to get rid of him my mom don't want him no more. I said bring him here. Tried for months to get him a good home. One day my dad said stop he's our dog now. kiah loves him and I do too now. She trained him he's ours. I couldn't believe my dad. The guy never wanted dogs. Duncan became his baby. Played with him more than I ever did. Duncan listen to my dad more than me

OrionoftheStar pit bulls are really sweet dogs but they do tend to be aggressive towards other dogs. not a single pitbull goes into the dog park at my apt complex they usually end up biting a dog. My dog has been in several fights every time its with a pitbull. but they just need to be socialized and they are wonderful! they shouldn't be banned or killed because of there breed thats ridiculous. But ignoring the fact that unsocialized they tend to be aggressive towards other dogs doesnt help either.

I love this! Pit bulls are my favorite dog! I know that they don’t have a good reputation but if you think about it, all dogs could attack. Not just Pit bulls. I grew up with one and he was the sweetest dog! He was always there when I needed him. I hope that one day Pit bulls can be the world’s Nanny Dogs again. Just like they used to be. ***** I agree. They're not a dog that should be in the hands of a first-time owner; it takes some experience to handle them well, I understand. A friend of mine used to be a dog trainer, and she DID come across pit bulls she felt were dangerous (and she was not easily alarmed by dogs -- I've seen her work with other dogs who had a tendency to bite and bully). Personally, though, I've never come across a pit bill who was anything but lovely. I think the fact that the dogs that were seized from Michael Vick's compound and adopted out have proven to be wonderful pets is a testament to the power of love plus skillful handling as well as the essentially loving nature of pit bulls. There've been stories about the dogs from time to time; I think one dog had to go back to Dogtown to live, but other than that, I think they all worked out very well and are much loved by their owners.

That’s a normal dog. He’s a pit bull. Just another dog. Treat any dog as a bait dog or chain any dog to a tree, feed him raw meat once or twice a weak and the only other time you get close to it you kick it or hit it or piss it off somehow, THAT dog will be ferocious to dogs and people. Pit bulls are NOT born mean as hell and ferocious. They’re made to feel as if they have to be that way to survive. It’s NOT the dog, it’s the owners!
