My family's rottweiler howls whenever he hears the ice cream truck. My mom thinks its the cutest thing ever and buys him a vanilla cone. He has effectively trained Grandma to bring him ice cream. The truck even slows down when it goes by the house now.

ItzRevrse __ actually “shock” collars (which most owners use for the vibration function not the actual shock) can be pretty useful if used in the CORRECT way. Notice how the dog didn’t run off into the street and stayed by the owners side?? Basically that way. I don’t know the details because I don’t use it myself but it idiots have misused the collar and given the electric collar a bad rep :/ much like the idiots who think pitties and other bully breeds are vicious but nope, just with the wrong people and had the negatives spread.

I love seeing cute videos of stereotypically "scary" dogs like dobermans and pitties. They're just big silly babies like all dogs with the right people. So sweet. :)
Dobermans only look scary when humans crop their ears and cut their tails off. A natural Doberman with floppy ears and a wagging tail doesn’t look intimidating at all. In fact, I would think most Americans wouldn’t be able to recognize one since we are so obsessed with the “breed standard“.
@@Fumi007 Cropping and docking are terrible practices (as is de-clawing in cats) and should be banned. That said, I think that any of the larger dog breeds can be intimidating to people who are scared of or unfamiliar with dogs. Boxers and pit bulls are floppy and still scare some people. I love all the dogs, though.

@@2st486 People do all kinds of terrible things to dogs that I don't understand. I have a friend with a pittie (who is the suckiest baby ever. She loves everyone) and she went missing one day. My friend was terrified that maybe someone had taken her to fight her. Fortunately, we found her in a closet. She'd somehow managed to get herself shut in. But the possibility that someone would take such a sweet puppy and use her to fight is horrifying.
Key is the type of person that owns said animal, makes all the difference.

Doberman to me looks so scary, though my friend had one and he was the sweetest dog ever. If i had a big property id get one. Very smart too with real emotional intelligence.

He said at least she has the tools and meds and does it cleanly. Am guessing it's better than if they attempt it on their own 😨

We love Dobermans. He’s such a good boy. We had a wonderful Doberman 25 years ago, we still love and miss her. We’ve had dogs ever since and loved all of them. But now we’re finally rescuing another Doberman. We’re so excited. Thanks for the great video. Best wishes ❤️

Blue Flare exactly. My sister and her boyfriend have 2 American Staffordshire Terriers and they're the sweetes dogs i have ever met in my life. Both are very docile, friendly and patient.
Why do American ice-cream trucks sound so terrifying?
That's not a real ice cream truck. That's a truck with some ice cream pictures painted on it and a big freezer inside. The real trucks are much taller and the operator serves frozen and soft ice cream along with soda's, etc.. Also, the driver doesn't have to get out of the vehicle to serve the ice cream. Hey, that truck works for them where they live but don't confuse that with a real American ice cream truck. The music is different as well.

That’s not always possible. I have trained my dogs, but they still have instincts and will chase a cat if they see one. They are quite large dogs, and fast, so there is usually nothing we can do to catch them. We also live by a busy road, and it has saved their lives many times. You are not completely wrong though. Yes, some owners abuse the power of being able to shock their dogs and it is not okay. It should only be used when the dogs become aggressive to people, or if the dog is in danger. Most dog owners, though, such as myself, usually don’t use the actual shock feature but the vibrations. Try not to judge too quickly, mate. If you know that these owners are abusive, then I agree that the shock collar is wrong. But you can’t determine this simply because you saw the collar on the dog.

I have a four-year-old female and she behaves nearly identical. She's extremely discriminating as to which flavors of ice cream she likes. For her, vanilla ice cream with peanut butter swirl it's her favorite. Before she makes any choices she will smell them all. I've done the same test with her regarding pig ears and cow ears, and she loves pig ears. I think the mentality of a Doberman Pinscher is about a six-year-old child give or take a year or so and either direction. My doberman is extremely clever and will use multiple toys to trick me into playing with her because she constantly wants my attention 100% of the time. Extremely obedient, loyalty without question, highly intelligent, completely attuned to the owners emotions, always affectionate, and very wary and protective of her family. They truly are super dogs, best in all dog breeds as I've owned several different breeds. The Doberman is without question a level above the other dogs. But no breed is perfect and the Doberman, as all of us know who are doberman owners, have special health considerations and may not have the greatest longevity. Thanks for sharing beautiful, warm and family video which truly demonstrates the characteristics of a Doberman Pinscher! Take care.
