So a nice video. I remember love amd enjoy Cameroonian weddings.( the outfits, traditional ritual, food, dance). The truth is, some families ask alot from the groom(Bride Price). My Friend payed and bought things worth over 2M and his wife is an Ordinary Level holder. Imagine is she was a masters degree holder. Some of our families should be calming down ya when it comes to Bride Price. Thank you for this video.

You need to realize that not all traditional weddings in Cameroun is the same because we have many different tribes and each tribe has it own way of doing traditional weddings so please specify the tribe because we don't all do the same rituals.

Hmm… this guy I was talking to said he did the traditional wedding but not court so he’s not legally married to her… he claims he’s just engaged.. he’s Cameroonian living in Atlanta and his “fiancé” is still in Cameroon… he also said he didn’t propose to her or bought her a ring… he said his mom presented the ring 🙄

It's called dowry in Africa and some part of Asia .

I am from Northern Cameroon but we do not do it this way so this can be misleading since every region in Cameroon do it differently.Bride price di finish when the woman divorce.I go need my money back.After all this...then one morning..the woman say i am done.
Yes, that's why you should know that you are not buying a property and you should treat her well because she has a lot of things to do in your life and family. So , she has a right to choose and just like you can send her packing from your house.
I dont understand how this is misleading it shows clearly in the video that only 4tribes are represented and I stated in the video that I didnt know how it works for all Cameroonian tribes
