It's sad that today's generation only know high jacked Thin Lizzy music from a commercial. TL is a legend, and Phil Lynott, rest his soul, was a lyrical and musical genius.

I’m a big Thin Lizzy fan. Other songs I’d recommend: Cowboy Song, Dancin’ In The Moonlight, Jailbreak, Bad Reputation, The Rocker, Still In Loe With You, Whisky In The Jar… Also, Rosalie/Cowboy Song off their live album “Live And Dangerous” smokes. As to where you’ve heard this before… Sadly, this song was used in an Applebee’s commercial. Phil Lynott probably turned over in his grave at that!

The song was in few commercials, for 'Applebee's' for 'Wrangler' jeans, for 'Hungry Jack's' burgers and it was also to hear in Eddie Murphy's movie "48 Hours"...
In " 48 Hours " it' s another song also called " The Boys Are back In Town " performed by the band " The BusBoys ".

Nice reaction, can’t beat Thin Lizzy (I’ll be watching all week), Phil Lynott died way too soon, their Rock music has a lot of Celtic influence in it. Check our Romeo and the Lonely Girl, Jailbreak, Cowboy Song and Emerald, Whiskey in the Jar (at least). The whole Jailbreak album is fantastic and I bet I listen to at least a couple songs off that album a week still. Keep it up.

The Ford Model T was nicknamed "Tin Lizzy", that's where the name came from.
The name came from a character in The Beano, not the Model T Ford.
@@garytate3075 I learned to read English from the Beano (1979 annual), I don't remember such a character? But I'm sure you're right. But I'd also bet *her* name was inspired by the Ford!
