Id probably start wire wheeling and priming the surface rust and do some small rust cuts ....rip that bench seat out and get that re trimmed ...not many people like priming n doing half jobs but atleast while it sits it wont rust even more Completely cut the floor out and replace with fitted sheet metal ect
Look personally with the frame rails being rusted id say get rid of it. Just bc of how unsafe it could be. Id say get a new shell and swap everything over and get the shev rebuilt or go 351 winsor
I had an XR Falcon sedan for 18 years, 16 of those with a rebuilt 351 Cleveland. I only 3ver had to do basic maintenance for those 16 years. I wasn't always easy on it either.

Hey mate I have been watching your videos for a while and like all the cars you own I think that one car you should get in the future or consider getting would be a P6 ford ltd. Do you know of this model?
Yes they are mate I'm an absolute car nut like yourself have you ever heard of the holden suburban I'm thinking of getting my hands on one soon@@Marc180sx

This 1968 XR Falcon is the similar shape that Nathan Paken reminds me of - the associated song for this car is sung by the Beatles: If I Fell. If you are going to take this car for a spin one day whenever you give Nathan a ride in this car - The car he reminds me off - Play the associated song that has been sung by the Beatles: If I fell. Fuck yeah man, I was wondering about this since you never showed anything from it. Love the XR and XT Falcons man, those round tail lights are pure sex.
My Mums first car was a 68 xt falcon and she still wishes she never sold it aye. Also I think it would be best to get a shell that’s in better condition
She is a bit fucked TBH. it probably best to wait for a shell. but, up the early falcons!, father had a xy gt rep that never got finished. my dream is to get one. either project or finished, but thats for future me to aquire...

Or do a later floor pan swap ??
A nice Barra or Miami v8 transplant would make an awesome cruiser for the shell swap
Definitely have to stay V8! My dream would be a coyote swap
