- A walk to Newlyn from Penzance to get some breakfast!
In this video I show you the walk from the Premier Inn in Penzance to nearby Newlyn ( a Cornish fishing village and home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the country).
We will pass by the landmark that is Jubilee Pool ( a sea water pool built in the 1930s and take in the sights and sounds of the coast.
We also pass by a Meadery and I will tell you what one of those is incase you do not know.

That Premier Plus Room looked amazing Louise - and free Green & Blacks Chocolate too! Glad you got an upgrade. I did not even know that the lifeboat station was no longer used! Good to see that it has a new lease of life now. I loved your little mead history insert; very well done. The sound quality was excellent, despite it being a bit windy outside, it was very clear, with no distortion. The sea was looking remarkably clear on the day of your visit. I also liked how you flashed back to your October trip. Yes, I do believe that is how you pronounce Wherrytown. Excellent little coastal walk and a brilliant video!
Thanks so much Paul! The Premier Inn Plus room was such a nice treat to be given on arrival. It was so comfortable and so quiet. The Green and Blacks chocolates were a treat that did not last me long!!
It was incredibly clean in that hotel. I would have no hesitation in staying there again and it’s so convenient for the railway station.
Yes, it’s great that the lifeboat station has a new lease of life. I look forward to sampling the menu there sometime. It has some good reviews.
Mead .. I am interested to try it. On another visit to Cornwall I may go to a Meadery. A new experience for me.

More memories for me Louise. Went on the ferry to Scilly isles as a child, never been so sea sick ! Next time we went by helicopter . The scilly isles are well worth visiting. Lovely walk. 😊

That Premier Inn was so convenient, how lucky were you to get an upgrade. It sounds like you were packing a lot into your little break, you really have to plan things. It was great to see the clips from October, you wouldn't have wanted to sit where the little tables & chairs are now!

Things did not go to plan for weather reasons and my other video fell apart when I fell over, but at least I got my St Erth to St Ives video made.
I will probably put out another one that went completely wrong during the week. It’s still nice scenery 🤣

Really nostalgic for me,my family comes from penzance, ,when we were kids we would get our ice cream s from jelberts the best ice cream I've tasted x

I have never been to Hayle. I am gradually starting to explore Cornwall since starting the channel. I am working a lot at the moment or I would be down there doing lots more videos. So many beautiful places!
