    The M3LR is such a great all rounder- beautiful, sporty, very fast, comfortable, practical, great tech/ very smart, excellent sound system, great value, economical and of course has its own fantastic charging network.

    Quick tip regarding the boot liner…..heat it up gently with a hair drier and you should be able to mould it back to shape.

    Nice video. Still i do not get that even after producing this model for over 4 years, there are not able to have proper panel alignments. Especially at this price point.

    Not sure it's correct to say that build quality is better in Shanghai because the factory is more modern as the plant and tooling will be the same. Its more to do with the AQL in each of the factories and the quality ethos. This is symptomatic of most US cars they simply are not built as well as European Japanese or Korean cars.

    How do you find insurance? I am thinking that as they cast bigger and bigger sections that they will become more expensive to repair, therefore insurance will go up to compensate this. Great video 👍

    • @WiZe1972
      @WiZe1972  Před 2 lety

      Insurance rates aren’t base on that over here, its more about the value of the car, how long have you been driving and your behavior

    • @Mymohawkisblue
      @Mymohawkisblue Před 2 lety +1

      The castings wont be an issue with insurance. If you have crashed the car so that the casting is damaged, the casting has done its job to protect you and the car will be totalled. This is the same for cars without castings. They will be totalled aswell in that situations. Fenderbenders wont impact the castings at all. Hope that it explains the question

      Tesla is ramping up production and right now when austin texas factory and berlin factory are running the quality is just becoming close perfect in future... its fact that fremont made cars have worse quality and more panel gaps than shanghai factory but now they have austin factory which is new and will be much much better quality cars. Also fremont factory is not so optimized factory which is the reason for bad quality. pretty sure in future when austin texas is doing volume production they will optimize fremont or rebuilt it etc
