MAGNETS: The magnets I used are 1 mm deep and 6 mm diameter. I buy mine from an online company called Spider Magnets in the UK. I know they do international but I don't know how much that costs.

*Shaded Spruce Cardstock - 8¼” x 5¾” (21cm x 14.6cm) NA 8½” x 5½”
Scored and folded at 4 1/8” (10.5cm) NA 4¼”
Polished Pink Cardstock - 2 pieces 3 7/8” x 5½” (9.9cm x 14cm) NA 4” x 5¼”
Basic White Cardstock - 3¾” x 5 3/8” (9.6cm x 13.7cxm) NA 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper - 3¾” x 5 3/8” (9.6cm x 13.7cxm) NA 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
**Shaded Spruce Cardstock - kite base 10” x 4” (25.4cm x 10.2cm) NA 10” x 4”
a). Scored at 5” (12.7cm) NA 5”
b). Mark top and bottom edges on portrait side at 2” (5.1cm) NA 2”
c). Mark on both long sides 3” (7.6cm) NA 3” up from the top and bottom edges on both sides, i.e. four marks
d) Score from 3” (7.6cm) NA 3” diagonally to opposite 3” (7.6cm) NA 3”. Repeat with the other two diagonally opposite 3” (7.6cm) NA 3” (7.6cm) NA 3” marks.
e). Cut from 2” mark to 3” mark on left and 3” mark on right. Do this on both ends.
***Basic White Cardstock - inside kite 3¾” x 4¾” (9.6cm x 12cm) 3¾” x 4¾”
Mark top and bottom at 1 7/8” (4.8cm) 1 7/8” and 2 7/8” (7.3cm) NA 2 7/8” on both sides.
Cut from top and bottom centre marks out to corresponding side mark to create kite shape.
***Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper - inside kite 3¾” x 4¾” (9.6cm x 12cm) 3¾” x 4¾”
Mark top and bottom at 1 7/8” (4.8cm) 1 7/8” and 2 7/8” (7.3cm) NA 2 7/8” on both sides.
Cut from top and bottom centre marks out to corresponding side mark to create kite shape.

Beautiful cards! My favorite is the pale papaya because of the two different papers on the kite plus the angle of it. Love the tails.

Hi, Carol. I cut it from a sheet of Grid Paper. One side has inches on it (so I have inches on both side) and the other is just a plain white strip cut from across the top of the Grid Paper. As you say, it makes the measurements so easy to see. BTW I'm sorry it's taken so long to respond to you. I saw your comment come in last week. I don't work on Sundays and on Monday when I was responding to all the comments I kept my eyes open for yours and it was nowhere to be seen. Now, all of a sudden, Saturday evening and your comment has suddenly re-appeared!! xxx

just an idea when I came to doing the bows for the tail I put sticky tape at both ends of the long piece then I tied on the ribbons which I found
so much easier..Have a go and see what you think.Loved the card as usual Keep up the good work
