I have a pair of the original S1 Pro that I use mainly as floor monitors in conjunction with a pair of L1 Pro8 and an Allen & Heath SQ5, I roll the bottom end off a little when using them this way and they cut through nicely on stage… however when using them as a primary PA, it’s quite easy to bottom them out, there’s no EQ on the Bluetooth/stereo line in channel and it can be tricky. I think this will be one of the main advantages of the Pro+, that and the control app.
i liked the first model cause sound adjusted by it self did not have to mess with eq
I agree. it's easier to adjust on the fly.
hi what is best eq settings for channel 3 bluetooth treble and bass ? when i hear music and put it loud bass and treble sounds distorted please help
I think it depends on the music.
Typically, I start with bass and treble straight up at 12 o'clock and then reduce as needed.
Exelente
Hello! How much is the sound pressure SPL?
Maximum SPL at 1 m
109 dB
According to the website
It sounds better s1 pro?
I like them both for different reasons.
Most of the time, I'm still going to the original S1 Pro.
I do like the wireless microphone and guitar transmitter options on the plus model.
Better than Everse 8???
I bought two of the Everse and sold them.
I did like them. They were louder and more powerful.
I don't necessarily think they're better, but as a preference, I like the Bose user experience.
The LED on the Everse was a little more complex, in my opinion.
Best of luck
In other videos they say it's not the difference in power, who to believe?
I called Bose and asked them directly.
They wouldn't give me an answer as to if it's more powerful.
She said that there may be some technical upgrades that may make it appear to be louder.
Basically, she was very vague and unhelpful.
I know that if I set the volume of each speaker at the 12:00 position, the plus version is louder.
I'm not sure if it translates to when both speakers are maxed out.
I believe they're both rated at the same wattage and SPL.
Maximum SPL at 1 m
109 dB Both speakers
Not loud enough to cover 100 people. Even with 2 bose s1 pro plus
I agree, unless you're really just background music.
Otherwise, I run it into a powered speaker with a bigger speaker and more wattage.
No mid control thats why it sounds so terrible
Fair enough.
It's probably not a good fit for everybody, but it works great for my needs.
