Hi bro, this is Jai prakash from Mysore but my mother tongue is Tamil, A big follower of your videos. Why i choose this video is you have been an inspiration for me to start my solo travel, because as you say in this video personally i had few barriers like when i said i wanted to do solo travel to my friends they made fun of me saying you are mad to travel alone and you cannot enjoy when you travel alone, but at that time i really wanted a break from my work (pressure) life. That is when i came across this video it was like what i exactly need your were like my friend, my brother who motivated me for solo travel. After seeing your videos like

So i finally planned my 1st ever solo trip Mysore to Gokarna.
I wanted to share a beautiful experience with you which i got in this trip please dnt mind if this comment goes long.
I traveled through train. In gokarna there are 6 beaches which connects each other there are 2ways either you can go by road or trek through forest (beach trekking) I'm your subscriber so i choose trekking through forest, started my beach trekking from gokarna main beach, then kudle beach, then om beach and then half moon beach my plan was to stay there in a beach side resort which i had seen in a you tube video and next day to cover other 2 beaches but my bad luck when i reached half moon beach it was completely empty no resorts,no people,no hotels and as it was a budget trip i skipped my breakfast and now i was damn hungry and i saw a fisherman (55years old) and asked him why the resorts and hotels have been closed, he said it is a off season and 1week back that place was hit by a high tide so it has to be restored. I was shocked and did not know what to do, told him why Im here and told him all my story, he invited me to his home a small hut near to that place and gave me food and gave a me a place to stay with him that night, for me he was like god, how do you feel when an unknown person helps you in an unknown place when you are in trouble that night i shared all my stories and even he shared his, next day i offered him money for my stay, he refused and he said
" NEVER MEASURE A PERSON BY MONEY ALWAYS LEARN TO RESPECT HUMANITY AND HELP PEOPLE WHO ARE IN TROUBLE WITHOUT EXPECTING ANYTHING " and he continued i did not provide you food and stay for money instead for your desire to travel from a long place think this as my token of love towards your travel and wished me. Literally i broke into tears and thanked him and left the place.
Why I'm sharing this experience here is that it was because of you that i could meet wonderful souls through out my travel and collect priceless memories. Keep inspiring people like me always and you are not like other you tubers, your experience has been my knowledge. Thanks a lot

Hi Ashok! For solo traveling at any situation backpack tha best! For cloak room issue, put your valuable things in small backpack or sling bag and take with you. That's the only solution:)
We can take valuable small things in sling or backpack that's okay! But what about rucksack which almost contain 13kg of things, Even removing valuable items from it, strictly rucksacks or not allowed to keep in cloak room & we have to carry that along with us...
@@AshokKumar-nh7lk From my knowledge I didn't handed over my rucksack in cloak room :( but I used keep my bag in lodges or hotels, even I kept my heavy gadgets like tripod, extra lens and dress which is costly. Till now everything was safe, they used to take care like their own property and I used to trust them ❤️ So my suggestion is don't think too much, nothing with happen to your bag and things ! You can handover backpack without lock too :)
If we give our back pack to the hotel or dormitory which we stay, after we vacate it by 11am and im gonna take train by 11pm at the same day, will the hotel or dormitory will take my rucksack and keep safe without claiming any extra charges ?
Yeah they will take care without claiming any money. I have been doing this way for so many years. So far no one asked me money for this:)

Hi Palanisamy! Bitter truth is Kanyakumari is not solo travel friendly place especially in stay. So we can't find homestay, but we can get hotels for less cost. Go directly and then negotiate. You will get it:)
