Also, don’t forget that callous nearly wiped out all of the Lassants population and the rebels, still let him join them
Exactly
I was about to say it
Yeah but he felt kinda bad about it while doing it
He actually didn’t, he admitted the order came from someone else, he was simply on the planet when it happened. He only told that to Zeb to goad him into a fight.
He was just following orders, he says this in the show
After watching the finale, I can say it was wise to never underestimate his evilness
Agreed
"Truth is, Wilco, the game was rigged from the start." -Rampart, probably
bruh
I didn’t forget that he killed Wilco.
sure u didnt
And Rampart sent Clone Assassin to kill Slip, Cade and Riyo Chuchi. Fortunately, the senator managed to survive, because if she had died, I would not have forgiven him.
He hasn't let Crosshair eat his soup yet.
Well, crosshair executed refugees and rebels. And everyone forgets that.
@@ketamineheadyoda2248 That's ANOTHER gripe I have with this show. They say he removed his chip and did all those things, but never go to lengths on why he does it or believes it is right, or have him have thorough regret at what he did. We should have seen him hate himself, have immense regret at the ideals he betrayed, pain at not going back with the Batch and not seeing Tech again before he died, etc. He should have been an actual character. If that was too much, they should have never introduced the idea of him removing his chip to begin with. They promised some nuanced narrative but never delivered.
Yeah I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Rampant does betray the Batch just to get his old job back
He also started the phasing out of clone troopers way back in season 1.
So he's basically responsible for all the clones on Tantiss...
2 words "Death redemption"
We remember.
RIP Wilco
Never forget that this man never lets crosshair finish his pog soup.
Yeah I don’t expect him to get redeemed. I actually think there’s a good chance he’ll turn on the batch. But he’s still fun to watch.
Rampart never changed. He just adapted. He's still bad. He just doesn't have the Empire anymore.
I mean Crosshair is technically redeemed as of now and he did horrendous things while working for the empire. Ordered the use of flamethrower on innocent civilians, he assisted on framing Cham Syndulla and also killed the already surrendered Separatist leader on the Cody episode. So yeah, Rampart can have his redemption lol
Callous nearly killed a entire race of people and he was able to join the rebels
Kallus* mentioned in one of the episodes that he wasn't aware that the Empire was going to go to such lengths, meanwhile Rampart was IN CHARGE of the destruction of Tipoca City, and fully aware of what he was doing.
@@jakewolf4381 still that’s bad that’s like saying a nazi was not aware of what of what’s going on weather or not you did not know how bad it was you stilled played a part of killing thousands of people
@@jakewolf4381 well no? Kallus directly telling Zeb that his race was killed ny his troops. They have a little talk then a fight that nearly killed Zeb too in Lothal.
@@kermi4654 Could've sworn they said smth like that when stranded on Bahryn
I don't forget what he did but he's still entertaining when he's on screen.
If Rampart is killed i want Crosshair to do it.
Ooooh, so that was rampart. I totally forgot who he was. Its been a long time for me😅
same!
He was following orders on Kamino despite Palpatine snuffing him out. Wilco was his own accord, though. You never know what path Rampart will go down.
Nothing can redeem him because of the fact that he killed Wilco
Something to note and remember. Captain Wilco was killed because he refused to Comply. Nice bit of irony there Filoni and crew.
The problem wasn't with thinking he could be redeemed - Kallus killed a stormtrooper by kicking him off the edge over a joke, led Maketh Tua to her death with little remorse, participated in the genocide of the Lasat, and did messed up shit - while he did redeem by joining the Alliance, they never discussed his regret at doing any of those things (except maybe the Lasat I don't remember)
The problem was there was only one episode. Kallus had a whole season of helping the Rebels before joining them, and a whole character arc shift. Rampart was expected to redeem himself in one episode. There was absolutely no way he could have a whole 180, or at least one that made sense. Had Rampart had more screentime and not have been an opportunist (unlike Kallus who always thought he was patriotic and doing what was right), he could have had a redemption or close arc. Sure he killed the clones, which fans care more about Stormtroopers and Imperials, but his past wouldn't have stopped a redemption arc. The fact was it was the finale, we haven't seen him in a long time, and there was virtually no seeds of redemption to go off of.
The only way Rampart could redeem himself to me is if he Spartan-kicks Hemlock into the jaws of the Zillo Beast. Seeing as that is unlikely to happen, all he got going for himself is his beard glow up which simply is not enough.
I will never forgive rampart for killing Wilco
I thought his and Nala Se's ends were very fitting. Neither of them were good people, but she died trying to do the right thing, while he died clawing it climbing the imperial ranking ladder.
That was monstrous what he did to Wilco also to me this scene literally showed one of reasons the empire lost because they seem more interested killing their own troops then their enemies.
Crosshair was somewhat redeemable because you see the bond he had with his squad.
Rampart has non, I don't get why some people think anyone can be redeemed
It would also help if they stop takeing every villain and turning them into a good guy or giveing them a heroic death.
my guy blew up
Im not necessarily thinking he would pull a 180, what i think what might happen is that he has nowhere else to go, so he may or may not leave the empire entirely for something else
Not saying that his actions are redeemable.
But even people that hold a big guilt can change in one way or another, as seen in star wars
And Kallus is the one who killed his own man in 1st season and we get to know that he genocided Zebs people.
And he is still likeable guy in the end.
I think rampart wont join them, He wants to be as far as possible right now.
I don't want to see Rampart redeemed persay but I think it'd be hilarious if he ended up joining the Rebel Alliance just out of sheer spite against the Empire for throwing him in prison.
He's Just an imperial officer that would do anithing for his empire🤔
Villains can achieve redemption.
He's gonna 80% betray them
If anything, he would rat out the batch
I can see him becoming a kin to someone like General Crix Madine, tho I can also see him trying to get back into the empire and later becoming a warlord so... could go ether way at this point, hell he could die trying to be a hero or by Zillo Jr
Bro was right
Chain codes were a pretty good idea for facilitating travel, dont forget he introduced those
He’s not like the other guy he had more redeemable qualities than rampart. This guy is a snake not a warrior like kalis
That clone commander that Rampart killed was also abad guy. Don't forget that.
There is a chance he'll find an opportunity to betray the Batch, maybe not as direct as working for the Empire again, but escaping when he's needed most or a similar situation. There are only two ways for him to be properly redeemed however. Unlike Kallus, we actually got to see his major sins on screen. One way is like most say, dying to save a bunch of clones. A honest sacrifice is about the only quick way to redeem a character like this, he has been knocked down a few pegs and has some time to think about what he has done even he isn't showing any honest signs on about it. The other way is that there would have to be another full series with a few seasons where he keeps getting dragged into helping clones and rebels until he has fully flipped script and has earned the redemption in the eyes of the audience, even if the cast he works with has no idea of what he has done or even cares outside of he worked for the Empire as a high ranking officer. Could always strand him on a planet where he is forced into survivor mode or has to become a humbled farmer and is met later with genuine regret and is fully ready to make up for his sins, which is the third way but isn't as interesting.

Redemption is a fairly consistent theme in Star Wars. If Darth Vader is redeemable, it’s reasonable to assume most characters throughout the franchise are worthy of atonement.
he did something to cody but he won't tell us he's hiding something about it
Calling it right now: In this upcoming episode or in the finale, he’s going to betray the Batch on some level. If he doesn’t do it to get back on the Empire’s good side, he’ll do it for his own reasons.
well
Bye Bye Bozo Ram
I don't think he's fully redeemable, but I do think he could be possible to live and let live. Letting the Bad Batch go without betraying them to the empire
Don’t forget that Darth Vader killed literal children and was redeemed, or that Crosshair killed innocent civilians and was also redeemed. Redemption arcs in Star Wars happen to even the worst individuals. Let’s see what happens with Rampart. A betrayal of the Bad Batch or a redemption arc are both possible with him. As is an imperial-dissident morally-questionable at best, morally-corrupt arc for him (e.g., Saw Gerrera, Luthen Rael).
bro callous almost wiped out the Lazats
if they pull a hux on rampart then imma flip
Admiral Grandpa
Me personally, I hope he's not redeemed. I feel like the Star Wars universe is giving way too many characters a chance for redemption.
Hux killed bilions or even more and Disney made nim spy, so this option is really real
I can see the argument for him redeeming himself
But I don’t believe thats gonna happen
The moment rampart slips away from the crew he’s gonna get the base on tantiss to ambush them and likely the crew is gonna have to think of something clever to get out of there or else end up all imprisoned
Dr hemlock then will probably shoot rampart in the back for “insurrection” even tho he’s forced by the team to take him there
And then all hell breaks loose
Perhaps he is the spy
Vader was redeemed. Hence, anyone can be redeemed.
I don't believe anyone is beyond redemption, but I highly doubt his character will go through that arc. At least not in a satisfying way. Not enough time left in the show. I suspect he will be used to cement Crosshairs character arc.
Meanwhile, Crosshair also killer those civilians on Oderan
If Darth Vader could be redeemed, anyone can be.
I’m still hate rampart cause he killed Wilco and imprisoned ryoloth
He could be like a gen hux??
Viewers: man CZcams recs is lame
Star Wars Content: *Hello There!!!!*
Don't kid yourself. Most star wars content is lame.
I mean if they redeemed him that would be stupid, but I present to the court one Kylo Ren who did stuff waaaaaay worse than Rampart
Don't forget what Darth Vader did too
Don't care, beard is hot.
Kallus did genocided the Lazats tho.
To be fair, I forgot about Wilco. So...
Yep still pretty evil but not to evil!
Didn't kallus commit mass genocide?
Please mark your videos if they have spoilers; I've only seen the first season of The Bad Batch.
Rampart can be redeemed Vader killed thousands and went back to the light why can't rampart
Guess what
Yeah but, didn't Kallus participate in the intentional, albeit unsuccessful, genocide of the Lasat? Isn't that worse than anything Rampart has done? It was my understanding that Tipoca City was evacuated, and, aside from being a pretty huge asshole, hasn't committed any mass slaughters that we know of anyway.
I mean remember what callus did ?
I agree but I don’t think he stupid enough to go back to the Empire either 😊
i dont care. funny big man make me laugh
❤❤
I got some news for you
bruh

Oiii
