When the 1st movie was made, no one thought it was gonna be hit. That's why James Gunn had more creative freedom.
Not even Gunn himself thought it was gonna be a hit. So he made the movie as if it was his last one

The animation and voices are great, but the reworked music and songs are priceless. The way you parody the music is what always gets me laughing. It's soooooooo well done and soooo funny.

13:19. When the 1st Guardians movie came out I had little expectations when I went to see it since they were the Marvel characters I knew the least about prior to seeing them on the big screen. I ended up loving the 1st film, the 2nd film, & the 3rd film so much that to me it's the overall best movie trilogy Marvel has made. I'd say my only complaint with this film is similar with Darren Cross becoming M.O.D.O.K. then trying to redeem himself, Adam Warlock's development/redemption felt rushed in that he was set up as this big threat, then he was comic relief, then confused about what he wanted after his mom died, & then he saves Star Lord & joined the Guardians.
I think it helped that we didn't know anything about them and no moves about them had been made. Also, it helps they weren't teased in other MCU films.
@@Bisexualdragon4042Adam was teased in the 2nd gotg in the credits as he was gonna be a big threat soo it was abit of a let down what they did to him, still didn’t mind the character tho
In the pitch Meeting Chanel he does something brilliant: pretends that the screenwriter forgot he had to includ Adam Warlock 😂😂😂... That's the only reasonable explanation for him being so underdeveloped. Either that or James Gunn didn't want him in the story, so he did the bare minimal with It.
I guess they tried to nerf warlock because he would be OP, and rocket would just died the first time they meet. They would also need to replace drax cause batista is not coming back.

The reason In guardians 3 Peter quill didn’t use the mask and boots is they were destroyed by Ego in guardians 2 but the Russo brothers had him use them in infinity war and endgame but James Gunn didn’t wanted them to stay destroyed after guardians 2
The MCU will be lost without James Gunn
He literally reshaped the franchise with the first movie, and then saved their ashes after the failure of QUANTUMANIA

It wasn't that bad. it's technically the 5th highest grossing movie of the year. It didn't make profit but it didn't do bad when compared to Shazam and the flash

I've been so desensitized that I don't cry or feel sad or anything and I even laugh at kids crying in stuff, but Guardians 3 was one of the first movies to almost get me because I love animals, especially otters!
