- I was on a recent trip to magnificent Germany a few weeks ago and I had an opportunity to stop by Giessen, Germany where I had lived for four years as a kid.
My time in Giessen on this trip was very short but I am very grateful for my time spent in the early evening and early morning in Giessen.

Lived there 89'-91'. Dad was stationed in Friedburg. I went to Giessen High School and lived in Bad Neuheim. Best times of my life.

I was stationed there in 1962-1963, having been transferred from Mannheim. . I met the love of my life there.
I was an exchange student at the university in Gießen from 2006-2007. I enjoyed your video very much. I lived in the WG Unterhof on the southeastern edge of town. Good times. I haven't been back to Germany since. I need to go. Thank you for this video.

This was so nice, Darion! Isn’t it amazing how there’s a castle like that right in the middle of everything? I mean, you don’t have to drive for miles to see something like that. And German train stations are so cool with great bakeries right there! Looking forward to your next video, just saw the scheduled release date!

Looks like you been busy on this video, you done so many things on this video. Done haircut, walking, drinking cold juice in Giessen. I never been to Germany and Giessen but one thing's for sure the place is beautiful. I cn see it from the video and Giessen is your childhood city. The place is so clean, amazing. Yes, i was very busy walking around and enjoying the sights, people and the food. i have lots of childhood memories in Giessen and I can't wait to be able to spend more time there. WOW!!!! I was there from 76-79 :). We lived in Grossen Busek. I was a kid back then as ny dad was stationed there. I served in the Army as well but I was stationed in Schweinfurt. Thanks for sharing :).

It’s a beautiful city indeed.. when I was there I didn’t appreciate the beauty… I was more interested in going to bigger cities… but this is beautiful city as well

I lived there for 14 years and it was very interesting to see it through other's eyes. I didn't realize what Giessen is/offers until I was where I am now :D
