OFF-ROAD Tire! Ninebot Max

  • In this video, I will be installing off-road tires on my Ninebot Max. The terrain that I have to navigate on a regular basis is all off-road and I wanted something that can handle every day that I do with this scooter.
    Getting the tire on this time was easier than the stock, however, getting that bead to sit was extremely difficult and I needed to take the wheels to my place of work with a high-pressure compressor to get them seated.
    If you are looking to change to these tires, be prepared for a struggle. ;)
    The tires are 75/65-6.5, you can get them here s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_A6U44H

    For anyone looking for new tires for a max or clones. 10x2.75-6.5" is a match made in heaven, this tire size will fit a STOCK ninebot max G30, E-wheels E2S V2MAX, KingSong KS-XM without any need for modifications to the original fenders. Yes it fits! raises the bike a inch and the added air makes for a much nicer ride.
    and the best part? you can get them both as city and off-road. 👍

    I am surprised that having so many electric scooters you still don't have an electric xiaomi pump. I fully recommend having one. Saves tones of time and effort. I pump mine max g30 on a regular basis up to 50-55 PSI and my city bike up to around 70 PSI.

    Hey, I am so glad I've found your channel and I am digging through all your content :) I am ordering rear suspension from your link, but I have one doubt about front one - would you recommend this fork suspension over monorim MX1?. I also have a small air leak in the front rim area probably after hitting a curb. Do you think that using some of this "tire sealers repairng kits" could do the work?

    • @ScootLetsGo
      @ScootLetsGo  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey thank you for watching. I have never had the monorim, however, many people swear by it. It can be a pain to set up and sometimes you may have issues. But this can be the same for the fork suspension. I had issues with the second varient that came out. You can check my previous videos on that one. :)
      As for the rim, I would sugest looking at getting a new front wheel kit. They arn't expensive. You might find that you'll just have to keep adding air to your wheel constantly. I'm lucky that I havn't yet done this.

      Did you manage to buy a Ninebot Max?
      It's true that at around 80% you will lose a little speed as the Voltage drops off, but you can get an external kit to make it 48v to combat this.
      Gen 1 motor has more torgue for hills and gen 2 for speed.
