- The X-Men movies are done. And by done I mean they'll be back soon as they'll be joining the MCU. But guess what guess what guess what. Mutants have already been added, albeit slowly and subtly to universe. From Ursa Major in Black Widow, to Wanda aka Scarlett Witch and potentially more in Spider-Man Far From Home (which trailer should drop soon), The Eternals and Shang Chi. Thanks for watching though!

I have a theory that when Kang (or Immortus or whatever) compressed the multiverse into one single timeline, whatever event that created mutants got erased from history. And now that the multiverse is back, mutants can exist in the main MCU timeline

I think the best thing they can do with Deadpool right now, is to put him in every single marvel movie but in a where's Waldo sort of way, then make Deadpool 3 based on the Deadpool kills Deadpool series and embrace the multiverse.

I always thought they were gonna have the infinity stones be a component in catalyzing the X-Men in the MCU. In Endgame, Rocket mentioned that Earth was "ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one's ever seen anything like it." I imagined that having that sort of power flash across the planet twice might have some kind of impact on the human population such that they would begin to spawn mutants.

I like the idea that mutants have been around for a while, but they've remained hidden, maybe through Professor X manipulating memories or something. Maybe Thanos' snap somehow made it so that more mutants are popping up and there's just too many now to keep hiding
I also hope the first movie is the original first class of the 1960s. I'm talking Cyclops/Scott Summers, Marvel Girl/Jean Grey (before her turn to Dark Phoenix), Beast/Hank McCoy, Angel/Warren Worthington III, Iceman/Bobby Drake, and Professor X. Also, they should be more lived-in but we still get flashbacks to what happened to them in getting their powers.

The eternals said they will never interfere till now or whatever. Maybe there’s something that will trigger when the eternal become active again that’ll activate mutant genes and that’s why they haven’t showed up till now

The existence of Eternals means the Deviants are also around and of course Humans 🤮 who in the comics had the potential to be meta humans (mutants) it’s too easy an out not to use. Making Wanda say “please more mutants” makes her eventual eradication of said mutants less impactful.
I’m so bummed they’re doing the eternals. The cosmic marvel stuff was so damn fun to look at in the comics, and then in endgame we got washed out colors on a grey battlefield as an adaptation to infinity war. They’re taking half of what made kirbys characters so great and just making it generic

I thought the implication with Wanda's powers pre dating the interaction with the stone, is that she's just a witch like Agatha was.
I think the only thing they're saying for certain with those revelations is that the mind stone didn't cause their powers. They can put an explicit label on it later if they want her to be a mutant.
Yeah, Agatha refers to her as a ‘baby witch’. She was just someone with a natural affinity for magic, who was subsequently forged into something much more powerful. In the comics she’s no longer a mutant, and never was, canonically. In fact nobody mentioned in this video is canonically a mutant in to w comics. The only MCU characters who are definitively mutants in the comics - Billy and Tommy - weren’t even mentioned here! 🤦🏻♂️
My interpretation was that witches have some innate access to magic and then had to hone their power through study and practice. Wanda is a myth in Agatha's culture: a witch born with a much stronger connection to magic and the ability to use it without incantations. That's how she stopped the bomb that crashed into her home in Sokovia. Sure, the Mind Stone could have given her the powers, but I think they were always there and the stone just opened the door wider.

Pretty sure Magneto is her dad again but not sure if it's implied that he actually is her biological father.

Curious to see how they handle mutant “racism” in the mcu when monsters and aliens are pretty much celebrities half the time
Just have the mutant racists be a group of Karens who are loud on social media and think mutations are contagious and they don’t want their kids to be weirdos, and this movement spreads to non Karen, regular but stupid people.
Monsters and aliens aren’t part of human genealogy. Mutants are. They will pop up in peoples homes, that makes them more personal than aliens and monsters.

I may be wrong, but I remember it being revealed that spider-man was a mutant the whole time in Universe X. His mutant ability was being resistant to radiation. After his identity was revealed to the world and everyone knew where he got his powers, a bunch of people tried to gain super abilities by getting bitten by radioactive spiders on purpose but they all just died. Also Peter became a fire fighter

According to House of M Spider-Man wasn’t eligible to be classed as a mutant
Spidey, Hulk and the Fantastic Four need their own classification for what exactly they are.
He isn't one because he recieved his powers rather than being born with them.

In Wandavision we find out that Wanda did use magic to stop the stark bomb as a kid, and that the mind stone killed everyone who came in contact with it except her AND Pietro. But Pietro obviously isn’t a witch, so presumably they both are mutants since something has to be special with her brother as well

I was trying to remember who became normal humans in House of M (ie: the comic run in which Wanda Maximoff made all mutants into normal humans--i know Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel was unaffected). That story line might be the solution to merging the X-men into MCU---perhaps even in reverse.
When I watched black widow and they said the word "Ursa" and I screamed "Ursa the X-bear" which is what Gwenpool calls him

Scarlet Witch's "mutant" ability was energy manipulation, later to be confirmed as result of High Evolutionary's experiments. Her Chaos Magic has always been from Chthon the God of Chaos creator of Black Magic, Chaos magic, and The Darkhold. I do believe they were hinting at his existence in the series.
Magneto was also like her 3rd father in the comics and he didn't claim to be their father until the 80's.
They’ll use the snap as a way of saying it awoken the mutations laying dormant in people.
I think there were always few mutants around but the snap made a population explosion.

Here’s my theory: Evan Peters as Quicksilver is for sure going to happen in the MCU. The one we encountered was legitimately Ralph Boner, an actor. But now that the Loki series has opened up the multiverse, and we can count on countless Kangs, we’ll also see Peters as Quicksilver. Also, maybe even Jake Gyllenhaal as the real Mysterio.
So I was gonna be "that guy" and just say "Mr. Suckday Movies, more like...", but my 6yr old saw me writing this and took offense. He instantly said "they're funny and I like them. They aren't Mr. Suckday, you are". Fuckin' got me 😪

the plot of deadpool 3 should be DP realizing he can no longer swear or do other R rated stuff, spending the movie finding and defeating the villain responsible in some obvious allegory, and then in the last 2 minutes of the movie doing everything possible to achieve an R rating.

The ursa major thing is interesting because that same guy was rumored to be playing Colossus at one point based off something from his IG. So maybe they told him he was going to be playing the first mutant in the MCU and he just assumed colossus.

Another thing to note is that ALL versions of Spider-man and other people like him (with spider powers) are actually Totem avatars of the spider spirit.
in additioon to ursa major and deadpool, you can easily get to six with scarlet witch, quicksilver, wiccan, and speed
if we're including mutates then we've also got everyone else who took the SSS or a version of it like red guardian, bucky and the 5 other winter soldiers, us agent, karli and the other flagsmashers, alternate universe captaiin carter, etc. etc. and then even nebula and arguably rocket depending on if they keep his backstory

If we include TV shows not on Disney Plus (which I bet Feige does not!) then this could retroactively include Typhoid Mary in Iron Fist s2 and Molly Hayes of the Runaways whose Tv origin actually mentioned that she was born with her powers and they manifested at puberty

I could imagine a Disney+ Series based of The Winter Guard forming, maybe after the events of Endgame, more countries are forming their own avengers to defend against threats like Thanos?
