  • Back in November 2021 I've installed a +3.5 cm lift kit on my Dacia Duster and have been using it ever since. Here is my long term review about the suspension lift kit. Enjoy!

Thank you very much, very professional, very helpful!
I would not consider rust being a serious problem however it is good to know. The distance rings which are used for the engine lowering are steel? I would have expected that they are aluminium... Do you know if it is possible to lower the engine beyond the 10mm?
You really didn´t experiemced any difference during street use (fast curves)? Good to hear, hard to believe with 35mm lift. Actually I have no experience in this direction but the other way: lowering 35mm - and this is a huge difference!
What will you buy when you sold your Duster?

      Thank you!
I know that this is the maximum you can lower the engine.
I didn't saw any difference on the street use.
I will buy the third generation Duster:D

      @@DusterCoolTravels Thanks again.
3rd Gen Duster? Wow, you are a brave man - depending on how the technical solution will look like. Today everything is based on rumours and Renault tends to change previous statements without prior notice (e.g. stupid green washing speed limit to174km/h 🥵). Cross my fingers for you that it will not come with the discussed "Hybrid"-solution...
May I ask if you have any information on how good the 3rd-party LSDs works or if there are any problems? I consider to implement one however they are very expensive and I have some doubts if they work well with the 4wd-controller.

@@alteregoklause1694 good the 3rd-party LSDs works or if there are any problems? you mean rear diff locks for dacia duster?

@@DusterCoolTravels Yes, rear limited diff lock - maybe front too (as it help also on street). Very expensive but if they really help... Can you make a statement?
The 100% pneumatic lock is not in my scope due to the complex air activated solution. If it would be activated by 12V, this would change my mind.

@@alteregoklause1694 in my opinion, I don’t think the extra performance in Offroad justifies the price. In 85 percent of the situations you will not see a difference between the differentials that come with the car and the aftermarket ones . What is the price for the rear diff locks ?

How does it ride, is it more stiff than standard?
