Cat peach, tanooki mario and the koopalings should've all been different costumes like they did with the shy guys and yoshis and used the spare space from the koopalings to bring new/returning characters

The tanooki mario and cat peach should've been just an alternative skin like shy guys and yoshi's, could've put zelda and captain falcon in the roster. Still the bundle is worth every penny.

I'm not happy with the racer selection, either. Lol I rock Ludwig for pure hair and laugh awesomeness regardless but Dry Bones is necessary for me...BUT, the price of both packs is soooooo worth the tracks alone!
They're probably a different weight class, so that's why they have their own slots.
That doesn't matter to me, really. I want new characters, not 3 versions of the same character before we get classic ones from older games. (again, obviously I'll be okay and play it no matter what)

@@Adam_Ben Bruh, I think the booster course pass turned out great. It was easy money for the taking, so at the very least it's a harmless addition to a decade-old game
@@dugtrioinstruments7388 this comment was originally posted when Wave 1 of the Booster Course Pass was released and the tracks didn't look like the standard courses in the base game, since then the courses added after Wave 1 look nice and fit well with the standard courses also new characters were added so my opinion has changed.
They completely missed the chance for Excitebike Racer and Captain Falcon.
Not sure what the future will hold, but all the non-Mario characters so far are from games Miyamoto was directly involved in creation of. Miyamoto had nothing to do with either Excite Bike or F-Zero.
Well Amiibo will let you dress up as Captain Falcon so, eh, it's something at least.

I'm so excited for this pack. Nintendo's DLCs are always awesome. Instead of giving you an incomplete game, with DLC to complete it, Nintendo gives you a complete game and DLC is completely optional, but always awesome. Keep it up!

The one thing that annoys me is, why did they think we needed MORE Mario's and MORE Peach's? We already have Mairo, Metal Mario, Baby Mario, now Tanooki Mario? Already had Peach, Baby Peach and Pink Gold Peach (Dumbest character ever) seriously NO MORE CLONES.
And get rid of the baby characters. I'd rather have empty slots than baby Mario.

I had to watch this again since with the new release of 48 new tracks coming to the switch we only got two packs in the original Mario kart eight margarita walks technically Marker eight but with a steel see all characters Unlocked and a few adjustments we got to waves to cups each even though they didn’t get their you know Very own cup

Dragon Driftway actually looks extremely cool
It's by far my favorite 8 course EVER. Entire franchise, topped only by 3DS Rainbow Road.
The Yoshi track was already out on Gamecube. Everyone overlooks Double Dash.
For real, these DLCs made Mario Kart 8 from a pretty good game, into a truly great game, truly shows you can make a fair priced DLC that enhances the original with a mix of old, new, and tracks based on other Nintendo properties, this should have been the standard for the newer DLC and its a shame they didn't do something like this again

Link and the Hyrule Castle stage means that it is a crossover. It doesn't matter that there's only one stage and character from the series, they're crossing over. It's the literal definition.
Seeing the F-Zero track makes me happy...but at the same time it makes we wanna cry...We need F-Zero Wii U....
I'm excited for the DLC packs, and I have a feeling that the Animal Crossing crossover is hinting at a new game coming to WiiU. We'll find out come E3, but I wouldn't be surprised if we got more DLC later to coincide with future games. I'd really like to see Starfox and maybe an R-Wing or Landmaster kart.

Don't worry you still can. I read in a article that if you buy the DLC pack, there's going to be an option if you want to play with JUST the DLC courses or the regular courses. Or the regular courses and the DLC courses. But it only works if you bought it though. I think it works like that. That's what it stated.

As far as I can tell, the Zelda wheels and glider are the only new wheels and gliders. The rest are karts.
Unless anymore are unlockable which I seriously doubt. It's only the Zelda tires and glider. ~ the kart select was shown on the Nintendo minute.
Each vehicle will have parts in all categories if my information is accurate.
SuperBendercade We have not seen anything related to a new set of wheels or gliders for any of the other three vehicles yet, so it's unlikely.

Those new tracks ate really awesome. My favorite is the F Zero track. Hopefully they will release that game for the Wii U as well. Also bought the double pack, so 8 new tracks in May 2015 ;)
I purchased the bundle months ago. It's cool they reward you for early purchase by giving you different color Yoshis and different color Shy Guys. I look forward to playing Mario Kart 8 again, but with these new additions. It's sure to be fun!

***** I agree, the Super Horn is a rare item to get and it would make more sense to be a POW-block and it's utilization should be changed as well. It would be sweet that you could either drop it behind or throw it forward you and if you do so, a counter would activate from 3-0. All the racers who are hit within that certain area loses all items (blue shell included) except the indestructible items like the super star etcetera.
PS I thought the same thing when I saw the Super Horn :D

@@michaelmorales1475 the thing is there wont be because the team working on these new tracks is not the same team that worked on all the past MK8 & MK8 Deluxe content. It's a different team. That team is working on mario kart 9 so these new people wont use the same textures and lighting
So much extra content! The characters and vehicles are cool (especially Link and the Mastercycle), but the extra tracks are what's most exciting. So much extra gameplay. I loved SNES Rainbow Road in MK7 so it'll be a hoot it MK8, but the Excite Bike and Hyrule courses look the most interesting.

These packs are EXCELLENT. I already purcahsed the bundle, and really hope they keep up this trend. I would love to, if not get more courses beyond pack two, at least get more franchise crossing characters.

At first I was a bit skeptical about this whole DLC thing for Mario Kart 8, but after they announced all the courses, karts, and characters, I'm excited as heck! Can't wait for all the courses but I'm really excited to see Dragon Driftway and Ice Ice Outpost. Also, I can't wait for the amiibo's! The only problem is that Cat Peach and Tanooki Mario should just be skins of Mario and Peach.
