I love how you can choose to either have a female or male villager, its like having 2 characters for the prize of one, plus the paper plane glider looks so fitting for an animal crossing character...maybe its because the series tries to create something whimsical and beautiful out of an ordinary, and mundane everyday life, and what more mundane but whimsical than a well-done paper plane?
I really hope you got that feeling because of The Office lol.

Out of all the tracks in this game, I think this will be one of my top favorites due to the amount of detail it has both visual and music wise.
I'm also hoping for Wario Colosseum as a Retro Track! Fingers crossed!

The animal crossing soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard
do you collect bells instead of coins? if you do, then nice touch!
Probably bells, since they did rupees for Hyrule Circuit

Single bells look like coins, but with a different symbol in the middle, and we didn't see a coin/bell close up so it could go any way.
And you can hear the bell pickup sound when they are driving on the beach.

I don't think you should worry too much, Iwata even said there will be more info on this pack in the future, so probably around April 12th as in like one last trailer with Dry bowser until the pack is released April 23rd

AMAZING!!! Love me some Animal crossing and this course did just that!!! First off graphics are simply amazing followed by the amount of details they added in it from the AC series, the music sounded so GREAT and had remixed themes from the games, and finally the changing seasons was a big bonus too!!! Overall next to big blue this track was the absoulte best in this pack excellent job guys at Nintendo who worked on it you did an Excellent Job bringing my all time favorite Nintendo game to my all time favorite Mario game!!!! :D

Yes the bells from the Animal Crossing serie are coins with a star on them.
It's not decorated coins it's bells. In the games bells are just coins with stars on them, which is what these are. I think they make a different sound too.

This is what I wanted AC on the Switch to look like.
At first, Mario Kart 8 was only my third favorite of the series. But thanks to the DLC and on-going support from Nintendo, along with crossovers and some pretty amazing mii costumes- it is now my favorite of the series. PHENEOMENAL job.
This course is just beautiful. Can't wait to race on it.

Oh yay K.K. Slider was playing K.K. Bossa. Its my favorite song in the series, and was also in the Animal Crossing movie.
The animal crossing songs are really great and the so g they play when you finish the race makes me wanna cry lol

I want to thank people who are making all these DLC. I'm not sure anyone who has anything to do with them will see this, but I just want to thank them anyway.
I love you! This is how to do DLC! You are giving us more maps, you didn't waste games own development time making the DLC AND all the DLC is priced fairly! No 100€ skins or character packs, no pay to win, no taking away from the original game to pack as DLC. Thank you. This is how to do DLC.
I bought Wii U just for Pikmin and Smash and I'm glad I did. Nintendo games are good quality, they are not rushed, they aren't forced yearly francises (Well, maybe the 3D Mario games are, but Super Mario 3D World was amazing! And we haven't had a new Mario platformer in a while, so maybe I'm wrong :D) and every single Nintendo game on Wii U is pure gold!

WOW! i wasnt that happy with the mario kart 8 dlc pack 2 when it first showed up (especially the choice of characters) but after watching this im completely inlove with the 2nd dlc pack and it looks better than the 1st pack so far!

The DLC Pack 2 is released on my birthday, what a coincidence!
If you look and listen closely, the coins in this track are actually Bells, it has its trademark star at the center of it and it sounds slighly different than a regular coin.

So is this one course/4 seasons a randomizer thing like Excitebike or you go through all 4 seasons during the course of the race or is it 4 distinct race course (1 per season)?
