Thank you for getting this up so fast and great coverage as usual. Great to see all the kids in the gallery, hopefully they will be the future of the sport! This course plays tough with all the OB and it really shows who not only has a big arm, but has control as well. Simon has tons of talent and a huge arm, but on this course that gets you in trouble. Hope to see him rebound!
Wow I'm glad Nikko wasn't playing hole 14 when those kids were sitting there! They would have a whole new vocabulary
Woohoo Been waiting for this all day. Thanks for the hard work
Mee too!!!
Watching this in 2020. Enjoyed the the whole vibe of the video. Nice work.
Great card! Definitely a fun bunch to watch play. Thanks for posting, Marty!
how awesome, all those little guys on 14!
Thanks as always McFly
really nice footage, you get better and better, thank you
Thanks for the fast vid post, am I the only one caught up in this suspense. Mcbeth killed it yesterday but I'm still going for wysocki. Come on sockibomb!!!
Awesome coverage as always!! Mc Beast is tearing it up.....
pretty amazing that you got this up so fast Marty!
Thanks so much
thank you
Does anyone know why Catrina Allen didn't get an automatic berth?
19:20 love lizotte's putts. So smooth.
Any chance to get perspective from the pin as well?
Notice the statistics on hole 5... McBeth is in his own league.
Nice!
I hope someone else recorded the other pros' first round... If only Mcfly had about 5 clones of himself to record everyone. :)
wiggins eagle was so epic
Wiggins has the ability to do crazy shit no one else can , if he tightend up a few parts of his game dude would be unreal, fun to watch. I agree great card. Nice course control doss ,just put them putts down
I just dont understand why he laid up on 12
Those abilities come with setbacks as well. He loves to use a lot of strength on shots, which takes its toll on many aspects. As you said, there's a lot of futile pieces technically (some of them just to blow off steam as far as I see it), and he's mental game is what it breaks him from the very top of the cream. Those ridiculously long shots that he can make? McBeast, Lizotte, Wysocki, Koling... They make those shots as well, with a hefty load of finesse, accuracy and mental stability, most of the time that is, instead of just crushing plastic. Anyways, I have nothing against him, and this is a fantastic card. It's just that whenever I see footage of him throwing, it reminds me of those days with a couple of days' hiatus, when I'm on the field/course mostly to release extra energy and gain adrenaline and endorphins, instead of just focusing more on the technical aspects.
I disagree, I believe he has the ability to make certain shots that no one else can based on his pure crushness of the disc, I didn't say he was the most consistent with it, and also I don't agree hhe's just throwing this way outta frustration, everyone plays different and that's his style ,gotta take the good with the bad
what did MJ say to you on hole 4?
"Highly boring shot marty." Hahah jojo is the best.
I love lizotte's style of play but this one has been hard to watch. I guess he just lost focus after catching some bad breaks.
23.32..... is that Will? ..... bushninja
Is it me, or does Lizotte suffer from poor course management?
he is very young and won many tournaments this year touring in the US. Course management isn't easily executed when playing at such a high level. He likes to go for big shots too.
Well he is 1030+ rated so I figure he makes better decisions than I do.
Too many hyzers. Gotta respect the course :)
The young dude with the huge arm getting destroyed by OBs his first time out is an annual USDGC tradition! Simon is far being either the first or the last guy to get punished for going after this course too agressively
Peter mercil
its his second year playing in the usdgc
at 5.14.... looks like Wiggins got overstepped when teeing .....too much humanoids
