  • We recently got an insiders tip about an estate located in Northern Pennsylvania that has over 40 classic cars. Ralph had a wide variety of cars in his collection ranging from Early Fords, to Studebakers and even some muscle cars. The property is filled with sheds and buildings with a car or two stuffed into each one!!!

I worked for my Dad who owned a auto repair/ filling station...the words "filling station" are not used any more except for old timers like me haha ...I used to clean plugs all the time with those type cleaners. Back then it was a normal procedure. I worked for my Dad from 1959 to 1965 when I left for the service. I cut my teeth on building up Flathead V8s and then Y-Blocks. Dad was known as the best mechanic around and taught me so much.

I'm currently in Dillsburg Pennsylvania taking care of some family matters. And what I see on the back roads all the way through to Parkville Maryland is these OLD barns that look over 100 years old and seem abandoned. And wonder whats inside. Some cars are literally in the field with grass growing around them. And just today coming back...I saw a white 63 Chrysler 300 on the side of this barn structure and wondered...does it have the big boy 413!! And coming up to a stop sign a little further up the road saw another old dilapidated structure again..looked abandoned no door on it..I saw something inside with a car cover. I backed up because I so badly wanted a peek. But it is "someone's property" and saw a No Trespassing sign on the structure, but didn't know how old the sign was..lol The structure wasn't even around any other house or anything. So I just keep moving along. There is SO much up here waiting to be discovered. I drives me nuts..lol If I had the means...I'd get a semi car carrier and drive all over here buying up cars...if their willing to sell at a non Barrett-Jackson prices though 😆

@@IronTrapGarage Doesn't matter what you or I or anyone thinks about what this deceased man choose to save, it was his collection. Every time you make it known you don't like something in the increasingly condescending way that was displayed in the video you're insulting that person, their memory. I'm not sure what relationship this man showing you around had with the guy who passed away, whether he's his brother or friend, etc., but with every negative remark you're basically saying how stupid this deceased person was for saving it. It's disrespectful. And for the record it wasn't just about the Reatta's, there were other negative remarks made.
Sure, everyone has an opinion but mature folks keep unnecessary negative ones to themselves, especially when someone is doing them a favor. It's also good business practice. There's a reason why these old farm guys have all these vehicles tucked away on their property with no interest of selling during their lifetime, some of it comes from strangers like yourself coming on their property acting as if they're smarter than them. As an amatuer buyer myself I've been on many of property just like this and you'd be surprised how showing a little respect and positivity can go a long way. More than once after I thought was a complete walk through (time spent for the owner to size me up as a person) the guy will say, "You know what, I got this other barn you may want to have a look in." and more than once that's where I'd see the best vehicles.
I like the channel and I get it, you were just joking, but after 3-4 times it stops being funny and becomes condescending. I actually stopped the video after you made some off putting remark about a rusting Ford that wasn't even the vehicles he was leading you to. As if he was wasting your time and not the other way around. Sorry, that's not how you talk to people, and it's bad business. But that's MY opinion.
