Halo is so poetic. Penguin and Rayne used to team but never made it this far. Now both competed against each other in the grand finals of the first infinite event

They placed 3rd at worlds in 2016. Made finals of many events. This is Penguins first major win though and how awesome to be pitted against Rayne which is what you meant for sure! Loved this event

Almost all competitive games are played with controller.
Both controller and KBM are allowed, players choose. Some played KBM.
@@Iselas181 that's not true at all. At the biggest tournaments/championships for the top 5 esports (LoL, CS:GO, Dota 2, Fortnite, OverWatch) basically everyone plays on keyboard and mouse. Really the only esports scenes that use controllers are fighting/sports games or marketing series that are funded to target console players. Most players are using controllers in this tourney but that is only because currenly Halo Infinite's game design and aim assist give contollers a huge advanatage (+10% avg accuracy for top players). As they mostly focus on console players, I don't see 343 nerfing aim assist to make things more fair - unless their esports efforts start losing steam and they need PC players to help legitimize it.
But @Iselas181 , try to withhold your urge to speak on things that you don't know much about - especially on public forums. Misinformation doesn't help anyone.
@@adriandelatorreebro9555 I'm curious to know if keybinding preferences were also allowed, or if there were certain gaming peripherals that were only allowed. I know with competitive unreal tournament they could not do custom keybinds or macros.

i know if you pick up weapons from the spawn it will refill the mag (at least for some weapons) so maybe he stepped on a BR but i didnt think that fills it, idk, weird
It's a historic animation bug that's been in since at least Halo 2. Happens when you reload right after your shot. It doesn't speed up the reload any (the reload time is still happening in the background as you can see the clip doesn't load into the mag for a bit), but because it lacks an animation you're free to move around.

Tournament was live on CZcams and twitch last weekend. They gave away nice armors and weapons skin drops and pose on twitch

@@eodyn7 Not including the fact it was internationally aired, meaning time zones need to be taken to account as well, there are more than one way to watch an event. A lot of people like to wait for game tournaments to upload the vods later for whatever reason, nobody is required to watch them live.
It could have easily been solved by just saying "Congrats to the winners of Raleigh" or something, instead of showing the winning team and naming them. It isn't that difficult to do.

How in the F is Halo Infinite polished and work good enough for it to already be in MLG tournaments!?!?!?! The game runs like it has potatoes as servers. Melee barely even works. Damage registration is broken. Desync is colossal.
