- Well the bikes not been running 100% since fitting the full Predator system. The Hill Top tune is supposed to sort the fueling but I wasnt 100% happy it was doing the best it could.. The throttle response has been snatchy and there has been some flat spots in the power curve.
So I decided just to be sure the fueling was perfect to take the bike for a remap with CJS Dyno Services with some very impressive results!

Omg the noise of the Arrow exhaust is amazing
The Crayon Demo indeed it is i also run the Arrow pro race titanium exhaust in my 2016 Zx10r absolutely amazing exhaust
It's Burnt into my HEAD !!!
Pretty sure it's a Brocks exhaust.
Nvm. Just got to the red bike. Apologies...
Just wanted to say I love the content you post Chops, a lot of your videos made me feel more confident doing (smaller) work on my own bike and understanding what things i should look for while i'm learning. Came here for the 1290, stayed for the great content. Rob
Great video two amazing bikes love the sound from both of them and 204 BHP that's incredible stay safe looking forward to more of your videos
Yet another top vid! I bet you're over the moon with it. That Arrow system looks exactly the same as the ones I saw at Silverstone BSB last year 🤤🤪🥰
That sound. That sound .... that colour. Addictive.
That sounds awsum Chops, and a real good gain as well, Mr X is a genius on that dyno, nice work mate.
Trick dyno work. Impressed.
Great vid, really enjoyed it. I love the idea of getting the most out of the bike with remapping etc & it's really rewarding to see all that hidden potential unlocked! You've created a monster Dr Chopsenstein lol.
Thanks Rage, yes so pleased I had this done, its transformed it completely. Faster and much nicer to ride now without the snatch
Iam 48 and ride a 2017-Honda-CBR-1000-SP2, i will always ride a sport-bike !! Nothing comes close to the incredible power/handling/stopping power,etc. Life begins at 120mph !!
I am 61 and ride an 08 zx14, 08 gsxr 750 for track and just recently purchased the 2018 rsv4 rf. Will ride a sport bike as long as i can crawl up into the seat!
45 here and I thought I was a unicorn. Just picked up a 2017 GSXR1000R and plan on doing the full stock to brock on it. Also own a 2003 Harley Ultra Classic but love my gixxer. Glad to hear there are other old farts out there enjoying life after 100 mph. Vain Freeman I hope to be you some day. Keep the rubber side down!
i ride cbr1000rr previous gen but man they screwed new one its midget bike and im 6'6 im so sorry becouse i cant ride honda anymore
My mate sold his 2018 Cbr sp2 when we dyno it and my Suzuki his put out 171 rw bhp 😂🤣😂I had near 30bhp over him. That Honda is slow my gsxr murdered it every were.
Age 45, 2016 Ducati 1299, about 175hp 95fp , last track day was April 29. She pulled 3rd gear wheelies and 4th floated up down the straight at least 120mph +. Stock motor !! Honestly couldn't imagine trying to manage more power than that...
Before anyone says wheelie control... HELLO?? Whats the point of having a V-twin sport bike??
Wow that is a massive improvement! Looks great :)
What a wizard👍 great video chops 😎
Indeed ... A M A Z I N G ! 💪 👑 🙉
Mr.X does the tuning, Mr. Chops does the riding
And we get to enjoy all this , praise the lord for LCR 🙌
Loved the sound of the Arrow system 😜😜
Very impressive gains for an engine that already makes very good power.
Wow..going for retro half fairing looks, sir?..
Kidding..lol..
The exhaust sounds is pretty epic has to be said..
Great video👍 Suzie have a nice ergasm sound from the exhaust👌🤪 Looking forward to the next video🧐 Ride safe 🏍 Cheers👍👍👍
Love your style! Kinder spirit when comes to performance.
I have often wondered about individual cylinder mapping when there's no access plug for the probe on most front pipes.
Good vlog this one chops as far as tuning info goes
I like how he says at the end. It pulls so much stronger than before . So much for the previous self adapting MAP .
Not sure what your reference is, but as soon as you put an O2 sensor in there, the map is "auto adjusting" regardless of what you do... Surely any adjustment to that is moving the map towards power over emissions? (good, I'm no green loon!)
Oh the wailing scream of an inline four! It feeds my soul.
Please create a 15 minute vlog with just the noise from the Dyno runs! 👍😁
Really enjoyed this video - subbed!
I bloody love Gsxr's lol great content chop's. Won't be going hilltop anytime soon 🤫
Beautiful bike. Love Suzukis with that motogp derived paintjob.
So happy to see this video, i remap cars for a living and seeing mr x using winols and genuine tools was great to see. Hilltop need to go to the doctors issues with talking complete crap. Id bet money that ecu data was standard when extracted and loaded into winols
That arrow system is gnarly.
Sounds Awesome 😃
Great video mate I went for a ride around Stone hedge a few weeks ago really nice place to go when weather good.
Way better. Looks like a proper job! With regards the the non R sus it's way harsher than the R. It's great on track but harsh as on the road. I wish I had R sus on the road and my Non-R sus for track LOL
Wow chops that was brilliant .thanks Danny
Thanks Danny
Oh that red one is gorgeous
Now this is a real engine calibration! None of that full-throttle only nonsense.
What a lovely racket 🏍🏍
That Thundercat T-shirt.....Want one of them!!
Used to do the same with trionic ecu's on SAAB turbos. Straight into the tables and chuck some hex in.
Interesting video thank you. I expect a few squidlies spent with this mapping. I didn't realise you were such a race enthusiast.
I've never been able to get to the limits of any of the stock bikes I've owned.
Hats off to you if your better than Suzuki.
It's not about out and out power Digger, I did it to improve throttle response and to be sure the fueling was safe
@@LambChopRides 👍
Just chopped my 2015 600 in for a brand new 1000R. Pick it up in a weeks time. Can't wait.
Insurance company can afford the christmas party this year now though...... I hope I get a card.
great vid john, was this very expensive, im thinking about having mine done.
Sweet job indeed.
New Gixxers are putting down some power no question !
Great vid there Chops.....
I'm getting into this hobby quite late and am just buying gear to take the motorcycle course. I started watching these vids with the Suzuki TU250X planned as a 1st bike and by the end of watching these vids I'm trying to figure out where to get my GSXR mapped :D
I like the Suzuki but I don't care for the blue ones, but the red on the other hand! Me likey!
Did hill top not map this before with one of there self tuning maps 😂 looks like a awesome job there , decoding hex data and using winols is a huge skill , nice to see ppl in the bike world still doing it
HillTop is a con artist and it is slowly catching up with him....
Russ Hodgkiss I said it all along complete load of balls lol
Mr X Dyno'ed hilltops map 400 quid for a sticker and a totally stock ECU was the findings.
Exactly when i see winols knew this guys likely to be genuine
used CJS for my last bike(Duc 1198SP), fuelled beautifully and was nice to ride at town speeds(for a big twin), as well as when pushing on. Found the dyno a bit optimistic(+10hp on somewhere like BSD), but for comparison before and after, headline number doesn't matter.
Was always amazed at Chris' rain man like abilities when adjusting numbers in the fuelling table!
How obvious it is, that these superbikes in this day and age are just gutted and strangled in their standard form. How good they become with a bit of loving.
Just watched the video impressive
You got there in the end....hes about 10 miles from my place... All my bikes go here. Its almost like witchcraft.... He got an extra 17bhp out of my Z1000. As you say it's not only the fuel tables he does but all the other good stuff too... My zed was still making power at the redline so he increased it... Awesome stuff.
Ah brilliant, yes I was so impressed with what he did. Just to know and have piece of mind the fueling is correct rather than say so it was worth the money IMO. Rides so much nicer than before too and you can really notice the hike in power
@@LambChopRides yeah... My zed had a restriction in the secondary fuel injectors where in 1st 2nd and 3rd they wouldn't cut in til 7k but 3k in 4th 5th anf 6th they cut in at 3k...so he copied the mappings to the first 3 gears... The difference was amazing... He also did the engine braking reduction too along with the flapper valve removal and the o2 delete... Bloke is a genius.
Love your bike I could only dream of it now 😪 soon, you'll be mine 😆
That man knows is stuff and good service Not here you go That will do and take your money
My 19yr old K1 is shoving out 140bhp with a full Yoshimura system, but just put a Power Commander 5 on the bike, so getting it back on the dynojet to have it custom mapped to see what the gains will be.
Hilltop exposed at last! Well done LCR 👌🏼👌🏼
well said!

Good to see some one having the balls to rip him! Amazed it’s took this long to come to light tbh! I contacted him about a map for my bike but wasn’t convinced so didn’t part with my cash. As for his “ it’s to lean for a full power run” 🙈🙈 makes me laugh every time
Good video mate. How do you rate the bike as an overall package compared to other Japanese 1000cc of its year?
My carb 00 zx6r makes 125 bhp , so I must say your bike for a 1000 cc is pretty good.
Nice bike👍. Which brand frame sliders u using? After installing the frame slider did u use torque wrench to tighten the engine bolt or tighten with hand wrench only? Thanks.
Interesting. Cheers.
This vid needs a warning label for extreme exhaust porn.
Hope you'll upload part two soon.
Ride safe with the extra horsies.
👍👍👍
Sounds incredible doesnt it!! Its a little too loud for me tbh, the Predator is loud but not ear splitting
Is the general consensus that hilltop are a bit dodgy then?
I have an mt07 that I had mapped by Simon at s-tec performance, through Woolwich software, and its really bloody good!
I may pickup a speed triple 1200 this year, so will be looking for good a Triumph remap if I fit an aftermarket intake/exhaust.
Quick question...... given where the Hilltop software sits, wont it be adjusting the map that 'Mr. X' put on?
Im super jealous :D yours sounds better i think with that brocks system that arroow is a bit loud.
Yes it's a bit loud for me tbh. Brocks is the limit for me
Nice video. All you need now is a pair of carbon wheels and the bike is perfect
Great job cjs, unfortunately hilltop have been doing fake ecu flashes for years, I had my bmw done by hilltop, it was off the chart lean.
Fantastic vlog Chops brilliant insight into dyno tuning...bit off topic so apologies for the question... how do you find Ultimateaddons mobile case... and can you recommend the best clamp for bars... looking forward to the next installment on the remap....
Really good! Highly recommended
I also have bar clamp which works great
@@LambChopRides cheers ill give one a try....
do you use a audio recorder as i notice no wind noise at all
No idea about the software adjustments but that pipe sounds LOVELY !!!!
Hey chops what is the brand of that carbon fiber tank cover at 8:30? You said it so fast I couldn’t hear it. Thanks.
Hi mate, how come the hilltop video has gone? Clearly some issues with it and the garage???? How much was this new remap and do they do it direct onto the ecu,? Recommend?
Lamb chop wheres the video where you nail the gixxer after the mapping was done?
Did you consider taking it back to HillTop?
How does the Suzuki compare to the 16RSV4RF you reviewed a while back?Im debating changing to the Suzuki.
I don’t understand why more people don’t buy gsxr1000’s. 200 hp on the wheel for that kind of money? Absolutely mad.
Agreed 👍👍
Lamb Chop Rides love your vidoes, keep’em coming!!
Cause they got ugly after 2008
Has this changed your mind on direct mapping the ecu vs piggyback?
I’ve got my husky 701 booked in for some tinkering next month, I can’t wait!!!
No the Dynojet unit still does the job and has a place. Remember the Dynojet box can be easily removed if needed and you isolate it if you want to test something. Mapping directly is more elegant way of doing it I guess..
Lamb Chop Rides cheers, love the vids btw, best channel on CZcams 👍🏻
Mine is a Hill Top tune as well, maybe I should give Mr X a go... has he done v-strom1000 before ;-)
No but MR X will have a go..
I am looking to get my XSR dyno tuned but do I meed to get the PCV or can I just get them install the map on the ECU?
So Chop's does that mean that the Hill Top map has been removed or is it still there? I thought Hill Top's map worked in the background and couldn't be removed unless by them?
Gary Sankey Good point! Did CJS know about the hilltop and what do they make of it all?
Gary Sankey great question mate. I’ve got misgivings about hilltop
Yes Hill Top still there, remember that only adjusts if the fueling is bad, the fueling is now spot on so in theory wont have to do anything! Bike certainly rides much better than before with the Hill Top, more power and removed allmost completely the snatchy throttle response
My zx10 gen5 was done here yesterday, 200rwhp🚀
Excellent! Did you get gains at the bottom end too?
Lambeth Longshanks yes pretty much gained all the way through
🚦🚦🚦Nice video, thanks. Can you make a video with your bikes top speed and 0-100 km/h or 0-62mph/h ? 👍👍👍
I try to avoid speed runs when I only have access to the public road it's drawing to much attention. But hope to do 1/4 mile strip at some point 👍
@@LambChopRides I use all the time the M40 track ...😂😂😂
@@p.santos6644 🤣🤣🤣
Have You seen Sylvian Guintoli video on how he is changing his GSXR1000R in to a Track bike. Chek it out cause I'm super interested how dose it compere to Your GSXR with Brock performance exhaust and your ECU reflash.
Now we need to find a guy that remaps using suzuki maps In USA!!
I need a map for a 2020 gsxr1000r with m4 system 😫
@mooremafia
czcams.com/users/ChrisMooreMafia
@@tashreeqakraft6357 He doesn’t use Suzuki files, he uses Woolich software.
I want a GSXR1000R now
You swine!
this sounds like a way more knowledgeable guy then the hilltop "its all abracadabra i cant explain it" yoker u been a while back. good results and a very nice afr-line there...
Jeez, as you say, dynos vary in accuracy but 200+hp at the wheel!!!! How on earth do you keep your licence? Lol
its not to the wheel, read carefully it says adjusted to BHP. this tuner didn't provide rwhp data.
@@KeepinItReal , I think it adjusts power according to weather conditions (T°C, Hygro) which affects power output. Gixer already do 202hp at crank (about 170 at wheel). Brock manage to put easily 185hp / 190hp to the wheel with his full exhaust system on that gixer model. But at the end, I think that dyno is a bit optimistic !
When will you update us on the difference of the fueling (individual per cylinder tuning) vs the previous & stock tune?
Dying to know....!
Yes needs to happen, will get it sorted
@@LambChopRides Still going to happen now with all the messing about from Suzuki making the bike difficult to get out & ride on? :(
If running lean is a problem with the hilltop tune, how long till they melt? Wonder if that's on all of them?
Makes me wonder if the hilltop is all ‘that’ after all?
@@gregoliver240I don't know enough about it or hilltop motorcycles. Would like to see another one of their tunes get the same treatment.
I’m sure on a video I’ve seen, which I think was from lamb chop. They won’t disclose air fuel ratios. Looking at the first power run on the gsxr I’m not surprised! It’s horrific
@@gregoliver240 I got totally conned by Hilltop - I took my bike to a reputable dyno and he uncovered the truth - NO MAPPING had even been carried out and he gave a fake "before" graph - totally pissed off I've wasted 450 quid....
Russ. Check out my facebook page. Truth uncovered more than once
👍
But did you try the cider next door? ;)
The thing about the HP on these bikes is it's only at the top of the RPM range, which is hard to use on the street.
To me torque is what feels good... It's hard to have both unless you turbo or super charge the intake which is the future, then you can have both especially with super charging....
I have always been a Gixxer guy, owned 3, but had my heart set on a 2020 zx10. But now....I think I may stick with gsxr. If anybody has input I'm all ears
From where u get carbon fiber tank protection??
what about ignition timings? No mapping for that? Brock's performance does ignition timings too.
The ignition timing was altered. At full load the difference was pretty much zero. At part throttle it was a different story
I want that tank extender that's on that ltd edition red one!
My zx10r gen 5 is going here on 29 April 👌🏻🚀
What was Mr x's opinion on the hilltop mystery tune?
m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=779548775764100&id=100011269543829
Wonder what Brock's think of this way of mapping 🤔
Brock does R&D. These guys do a piss poor job of mixing long words to make the customer believe they're getting their bike properly tuned. Hill top are NOT good tuners.
Emissions standards really do muck up the air/fuel ratios on new motorcycles.
Yes completely ruins them really standard 🙁
Nonsense. It’s when aftermarket parts are added that A/F can go wonky.
Factory calibrations are usually rich for safety purposes and to keep the cats working properly. With emission standards, bikes are starting to come with proper closed-loop FI, even wideband o2 sensors from factory.
@@Cataclysm1 Everything you said is nonsense. It literally contradicts just about every speed shop on CZcams who features dyno videos, shows air-fuel ratios, explains aftermarket parts and modifications. I won't bother rounding up a dozen of them because your search function is just as functional as mine.
But whatever paradigm of electronics, science, mechanics you're comfortable believing, that's up to you.
You ever miss the duke!?
I think it's about timeI that people know the truth about these so-called tuners , if they are using An oxygen sensor (also known as an O2 sensor or Lambda sensor) is a sensor designed to generate a reading based on the content of oxygen and hydrocarbons whether it be at source or the collective part of the exhaust system it is impossible to correctly tune an engine in this manner and the reason for this is all dyno rooms are a container for hydrocarbons also the engines themselves recirculate un burnt hydrocarbons which passed back through the air intake system as well as crank case breather , the only way to accurately tune the engine is to monitor EGT exhaust gas temperatures individually at source ensuring the correct burn ratio , I hope this information has been useful for some of you .
OEM engineers use a combination of lambda and EGT sensor's. Motorcycle injectors are off as much as + - 8 percent from each other. The Tuners you talk about custom tune this descrepency out by matching the cylinders. On a motorcycle a few percent here and there per cylinder does not raise EGT to dangerous levels. Each cylinder has an ignition trim . The ignition trim tables are changed to control EGT.
In the bike world ( unlike the car world) we do not build one calibration (tune file) and fire it into every identical veichal where they use wide band as standard.. bikes are good out of the box without the terrible restrictions cars , trucks etc have. To gain power on a bike the airfuel has to be fine lined... And loading a performance tune from one bike that you calibrated to perfection can destroy the engine on the next
Reading your reply it is obvious that your understanding Of this subject is somewhat Basic! , yes you are completely correct the manufacturers do have an offset on the percentage on the in-line 4 engine , the reason for this that you clearly do not know because all in line 4 engines must have more fuel in the two center cylinders, I E cylinders 2 and 3 to prevent heat damage as they do not have the coefficient cooling capabilities as the outer cylinders 1 and 4 this is why on carbureted motorcycles the 2 center jets are always bigger, this is not my opinion it is a fact !!.
And I don't think you need me to spell out what will happen when the temperature of the two centre cylinders exceed OEM specification.
I suggest you do more research into the basic thermal loading.
Old carb motorcycles.. yes of course they ran different jets. These old bikes had no capabilities of individual cylinder ignition mapping to control exhaust temputure. So they flooded them with fuel instead. Times have changed....
kevin excellent information but you are wasting your time on this chap ,mr x aka ecu reverse engineering .
a full predator exhaust and you don't get the Brock flashed ECU?
Brock's usa ecm flash on euro ecm is something to be seen... don't forget USA ecm is VERY RESTRICTED, and always is better to tune your very own bike and not a generic map.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the hilltop map supposed to be self learning. Me and a mate were told this when they mapped his superduke gt
It's all total bollocks!
Totally.. the guys robbed hundreds of people
m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=779548775764100&id=100011269543829
ECU Reverse Engineering Cheers for the reply mate . I was pretty sure hilltops dyno was bullshit as the torque reading at 4,000 rpm had doubled after their tune which I think is near impossible and they don't give any AF. Ratio readout .
a zx6r was faster to 60 than a cb1000r and the gsxr1000r?
Mr X sounds like a Bond Villain?
Hi could I ask where abouts this is as I want to get my l5 gsxr 600 remaped like this as it's the best way to know how the air fuel ratio is correctly done at each cylinder. I do live in the uk Shropshire so I'm smack bang in themiddle. Thanks
