Fun fact: out of the shortlisted 7 host cities for the next Eurovision, Birmingham is the only city to have experienced hosting the Eurovision before: they hosted 1998's contest in the city's national indoor arena.

I'm pretty sure everybody knows but, UK will return to Junior Eurovision with BBC as their broadcaster. BBC One and CBBC will air the event and I think they'll use an internal selection.

Kazakhstan and Kosovo very likely won't debut.
Kazakhstan isn't a full member of the EBU, and the EBU have stated that they don't have any plans to invite any more broadcasters any time in the near future.
No Kosovar broadcaster is a member of the EBU and, although RTK has stated that they are applying to join, this application is likely to be unsuccessful as they aren't part of the International Telecommunications Union, which they are unable to join as Kosovo isn't a fully recognised sovereign country by the UN.
