@@Roakt I've had my 04 g35 coupe manual for 12 years now.suspension work is done with Z1 parts,motordyne complete exhaust.Brakes,calipers etc to get it ready for the overhaul.
The last thing to do is transmission and engine upgrade,plus supercharge.I think I want Z1 to do the work.Keep it Nissan.I will buy another car but I will never get rid of the g.
Just want to build a solid performance car with usable power for the street.400-450 is what I am aiming for with tune. My brother got me into Nissans as a kid.I would drive his 240 a lot. lol

You do know the VQ35 make much more horsepower with much less boost than 2JZs right. The only thing that makes the 2JZ stronger is the iron block. That is it. Hell even a stock GM truck engine can make more horsepower and have much more displacement for 1/4 of the cost. Don't be a fan boy lol

Safety reasons too im sure. That way two cars dont total themselves out incase someone gets squirrelly
This looks like a lower division with less onsite safety and less hightech fail-safes in the cars with amateur drivers. That means there's a higher risk of failing to mitigate the damage caused when things go wrong. You can see them waiting for a go light after the green light. Top right of the tree. Staggers the cars so they're less likely to hit each other. The g35 was doing the same thing as the rest of the cars.
It's so the loser doesn't feel bad until they get the time slip. Everyone gets a trophy.

Sedan version with halogen would be eeasy, only things to change are, turn Signals at the back, rear running lights and rear fog lights.
Unplug the turn signals at the sides and you're good to go..
But the coupe comes with xenon headlights only.
And for those, an automatic headlight range control is requiered in germany..

In that case i would have to modify an professional kit, to fit the g35 (servos etc).
That would requiere an single reaprroval of the already expensive kit. And there are no professional approved kits for the g35.
And an headlight cleaning system is also required for xenos here.
But there might be a way to avoid that.
The Osram D8 Xenon blub..
It comes with only 25w and very low lumen, so the law wise its an Halogen headlight.
So no Regulation or headlight cleaning systems requiered. :)
Im now fitting the bulbs and the new xenon control modul in to the old headlights, with an bi-xenon module. Still gotta get single approval for the headlights and its still very annoying work, and looks kinda ugly.
But compared to gettin approved xenos with an approved kit it save a shitload of work and money.. :D
