Coming back from Dweller, an exceptional Black Electronic Music Festival in NY (and multiple long flights lol) I was so inspired 😌😌 …what you hear is an enthusiastic and at times ambitious exploration. Flaws and all, I just want to say that house has me deep in its grips. Mm! 😌🤲🏾 + I will work to continue to present the sound as authentically and creatively as I can. Thank you BlackHouseRadio for allowing me to play and experiment. I had a beautiful time.
What I love about Black Electronic music (Deep House, Chicago House, Juke, Footwork, G-Tech, Detroit Techno all of that!) are the producers and creatives that leaned in to sound exploration. I've listened to house/techo tracks and thought damn! How deep into sound exploration is this person going to get?! This delight is was inspires me and so I present to you all, me, really sitting with the music. Getting familiar, as DJs do, with a sound before presenting it at the party/club. I invite you to enjoy/appreciate the different textures of house music with me.
