Being able to do heavy bench work without a spotter in my garage is a valuable commodity.

i think attachments like these are very cool and just the beginning. i expect future modified shapes that act more like hammer strength machines: chest flutes, presses etc.
while i haven't yet gotten some, planning to, I think a different type of metal might be the solution to what alot of ppl complain about or at least a different mounting mechanism.
most complaints out there are that they're too heavy and that the take too long to set up. maybe some sort of aluminum profile? i don't know but it'll happen

noted. i'm kinda stuck in this rogue, bells, rep thing. rogue/bells rack stuff and rep bench. i found out the bolt fitness leg extension fits the rep bench so i may go that route for that but i would like some lever arms. considering something like crandall fitness ones. i'm not sure yet

Hey Mike, I’m fresh out of surgery. Broke my wrist skating, on the road to recovery. I wouldn’t say they’re essential but definitely not overrated. One of the safer options I would say, no spotter required. Stay well, god bless bro.

Great video Mike. So I have the PRX Performance Fold In Squat Rack that has 2x3” beams with 5/8” holes - do you know if there are any lever arms like the one featured in your video that will connect to a 2x3 frame? I haven’t been able to fine any. Thanks!

These look better because they are adjustable with the grip and the Vendetta Style posts. I have a Titan T3 rack, and I got the Lever Arms off of marketplace for pretty cheap. I don't use them as much as possible because the handle doesn't move at all, and it's inconvenient to set up and takedown. If I am doing lever arm stuff, I will use hammock straps attached to eye bolts in my rack because they are easier to set up and store away. If I had these I may use them more. They can at least stay on the rack out of the way which makes set up not as annoying.

Thanks Mike, I plan on getting jammer arms but I've got the REP PR-5000 rack with their Ares 2.0 cable system coming. I'm looking for the converging (free motion) feature with horizontal and vertical locking points. Also want something that integrates with a pulley and that's quick/easy to attach/detach (fine with leaving the trolleys on and just removing the arms). Thought PRx would deliver on that but they crapped the bed so now I'm waiting for the Bulletproof arms that are due out soon.

@@hybridresistance lol yeah been looking at jammer arms for awhile so what I'm looking for is a culmination of feedback from a lot of rack owners with a cable system. No one wants to deal with taking them on/off if they're a PITA to do it, so an integrated option is huge. It addresses the resistance curve while also turning your rack/cables into a FreeMotion machine set up. 💪

@@Dadbodsteve1516 I think they may, but I can’t say for certain. I’ll likely make a full comparison in the future when they release the full lat package. It’s not really a fair one to to one comparison, but if you’re just doing basic lever exercises and don’t want a dedicated machine, then the some simple jammer arms might be the way to go. Another way to look at it is that these cheap arms would be a good way of assessing how much you would value the function of a dedicated machine.
