    A lot of people are going to say they're pointless or too expensive. These people are wrong. They allow you to essentially have 90% of the machines from a gym at home.
    Are they essential? No

    Are they an excellent addition to a home gym? 100% yes

    I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the czcams.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

    • @johnchristian3387
      @johnchristian3387 Před 4 lety +2

      David Maron Hi David. They are long, but I had Rogue send me the shorter ones, so I have both. I guess I don’t use them because I just found I preferred the barbell movements. They work great, but pre-COVID, I only had 60-90 minutes to lift before work. I didn’t like moving them around. Was easier to just use a barbell. For accessory work, I use my Rep FT-5000 multifunctional trainer. I like having the jammer arms more because outfitting the gym has become a hobby. If I were an athlete still (I’m a middle aged dad now), I might use them more for explosive jammer type movements, but I don’t know. I couldn’t recommend them for most people though. What were you planning on using them for?

    • @davidmaron9961
      @davidmaron9961 Před 4 lety

      @@johnchristian3387 Hi John, Thanks for the reply. I'd be using them to supplement my pressing movements: chest, shoulders, deadlifts, back workouts, and some leg work. I would use them with the safeties inside or outside the rack to rep out on lower weights or one arm lifts. I'm starting from scratch here in NorCal and wish I would have set up my home gym 2 years ago. It looks like you have to decide whether to mount them inside the rack or on the outside. So that would rule out any back and forth. I'm currently waiting for my Rogue RM-4 rack to arrive which sold out in a few hours once it became available. These lever arms became available the other day and were sold out in less than two hours! I saw that Rep functional trainer. That's a great piece for accessory work for sure. I am also likewise torn between Monster and Monster Lite as I plan to upgrade from my SML-2 to a likely 6 post rack when I already have a ML matador, SAML spotter arms, and landmine attachments. I love the versatility of 3x3 with 1” holes but also the Wetside hole spacing as a solo home lifter re: spotter arms 🤔😬

    I like jammer arms, but it seems like their main benefit is allowing people to turn their rack into a smith machine without feeling bad about the undeserved hate they get.

    Coop, would the jammers work if you swapped them? Rogue Jammers with Sorinex rig or Sorinex Jammers with a Rogue Rig.

    Hey Coop, so i've been looking at some of your reviews lately and it seems that, regarding quality, it all comes down to these two: Sorinex and Rogue.
    What shall i do? Once again, i am looking for the ultimate rack with as many pull up attachments as possible (as well as other attachments!).
    I know there's not really a right answer to the question, for i know these are the two true titans in the industry, but bear with me. And also remember that i am based in Europe...
    Thanks.

    Do you have any suggestions about interchangeable rack accessories between brands? I have a Titan x3, 24in depth and I love it. But a lot of the extras (j cups, etc..) from titan are kinda crappy.
    Great videos btw...

    How close are they to hammer strength chest press setups, looks like they only go straight up and down where the hammer strength follow a more curved upward path, would you say they are comparable

    Very good video! Now, if I may ask a favor. Can you please recommend the right rack where I can add lever arms and utility seat for leg press? Sorinex has a utility seat that attaches between the lever arms to use as a leg press. Now, I was wondering if I could have the same thing with a Rogue power rack (like the RM3), lever arms, and utility seat. Also, if I end up getting the Sorinex lever arms, which Rogue power rack should I get?

    Buying all this equipment does you no good if you don’t use it. Go to a gym for a few years and build a base of knowledge and strength though practice, reading, watching etc. Then consider spending thousands on all this crazy equipment. All you really need is a barbell, plates some dumbbell and simple rack.
