I’m fortunate that we have an open relationship when it comes topics but it would be great for them to hear someone in their age range perspective.

I think women should accept facts, if he can’t be truthful to you without you getting butthurt then what even is the relationship . I was married before and when I stated to date and got together with my new husband. He would ask me things about my previous relationship and all I told him was like I was with him for 11 yrs and Toward the end he didn’t do right by me. I left and I took care of my kids and he tried to ask me about intimate stuff and I just told him, am not going to tell you anything about my intimate relationship. It’s the past and am not going to ask anything either cuz it matters from now on.

After 14 years being with my partner , this years he just started asking me what was my body count. I thought it was so weird which I didn’t care telling him because my body count isn’t high at all lol but what was the need for that? Currently single, y de lo que veo or vi is that if you ask someone what they are looking for they will be honest and say what they are looking for. And so if someone tells you que they aren’t looking for something serious or just fwb in my mind pues se que han estado con más de una persona. Which everyone is at different points, some people(or it seems to me like a majority) don’t want commitment. All of that to say is that I don’t ask, but if someone asked me I would be honest. Just because of or got to that point I think it’s important to be honest in a relationship. I think with body counts for boys people always will be like “asi es” pero para las mujeres it’s taboo. When it should be the same and the mosh important thing I would get out of that is getting checked. Por que entre más personas más te pones a riesgo por todo lo que hay en este mundo. So about the topic of “men providing is enough” Jonathan made a great point of saying “depends how they are raised.” But I think he was wrong with the part of him saying that moms did a shitty job raising their sons. The reason is because it honestly depends how the mom was raised too. My mom was raised in a machista household in Mexico. She only has one older sister and six brothers. My grandfather was a machista that was also an alcoholic. He spent his time drinking and “providing” for the house while all 8 children plus my grandma maintained the house and the store they owned.
So with all of the said, my mom really didn’t do a bad job raising my brother, it’s just that she was accustomed to do everything for the men around her.
However on the other hand, my dad never made my mom feel like she had to do any of that when they got married. My dad has a story of his own. My dad always helped my mom with chores at home & he loves cooking for us.
My brother moved out of the house but my mom still does his laundry 😐 so technically there is still a problem there but honestly I’ve learned to mind my own business because although I love my brother, it’s not going to be my problem if he doesn’t find a woman who does everything for him like how my mom did for him.
I would never ever tell my new partner anything about the pass. Any x’s or anything that was in my pass. It’s the pass and it doesn’t matter, as long as am not hurting him it has nothing to do with him. I seen first hand when my friend told their new partner shit they went through with their ex partner . He would hold everything against her and since her x treated her bad, he also treated her like crap. And when she would tell him. I agree with the moms raising sons wrong. I always say some women unfortunately have son HUSBANDS. Its especially bad with alot of women who habe the "i don't need a man" mentality. They raise their son like the man they wanted the baby daddy to have been, and then that boy grows up and has a gf and the momma cant let go and shes fighting over her son como si es su marido😪 Jonathan actually has very good advice ❤
