  • The adventure van gets new diff bearings after a catastrophic failure. A bad transmission fluid leak revealed a wrecked bearing and damaged extension housing. I also installed new drive axles because mine where toast. I knew there was a bad bearing because the previous owner pointed it out to me when I bought the van. It was about time to deal with it but honestly this should have been the first repair on this van. Oh well, it’s done now and she’s back on the road.

Tight space to get the diff out.
    Good video and good job.
    Happy Motoring.

Yeah it was a tight fit but I was able to shimmy it out. If I had taken that crossmember completely out it would have been a lot easier to remove the diff. I would suggest doing that instead. Thanks for the views. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.

Ahh you should've put the grooved and secured pin in...
Those are known for breaking loose and destroy the case.

Yes i have read about that issue with these. Missed opportunity this time. I’ll do a rebuild on one of these transmissions in the future and be sure to get that done. Thanks for the comments and views. Feel free to like, share, and subscribe.
