VRAIMENT VRAIMENT GÉNIAL. A mais là vous avez fais fort fort fort. A j'ai kiffé grave. Je crois que c'est la meilleure vidéo de grimpe que j'ai jamais vu. J'ai sur-kiffé. Je me suis vu dans les voies, c'est tellement beau. BRAVO !!!

Super vidéo ! J'ai trouvé l'histoire de Jibé Tribout un peu décevante tout de même... Selon moi de tels comportements sont à l'opposé de ce que devrait être l'esprit de l'escalade libre. Souvenez-vous : partage, respect, liberté ! Peace
Hopefully we can watch it with a laugh now, while being grateful that the culture of climbing has changed so much! It's unimaginable people would act that way. I love how collaborative and positive climbing is now.
I agree. I doubt that Patrick would have behaved in the same way. He had a more spiritual approach to climbing. Still the best in my view!

Super vraiment merci de faire revivre ces grandes voies et l'esprit de l'époque. Par contre je ne suis pas certain que l'Ange ait été "soléée" par Patrick Edlinger dans le film il me semble que la voie c'était plutôt Debilof, si quelqu'un peut confirmer. A bientôt
on te le confirme ! Debilof par PE et l'Ange par Alain. c'est une erreur de notre part mea culpa... ;-) les différentes sources d'info. nous ont troublé et bien-sûr c'est une fois diffusé que les sources se sont confirmées... mais rien n'interdit de penser que PE l'ai fait aussi...

Bonjour et merci beaucoup pour les vidéos, je fouine vos vidéos... j’aurais voulu connaître les journées d’un grimpeur professionnel, ce qu’il peut en faire ... edf, coupe d’arbres ? client... les différents débouchés. Par curiosité uniquement, en tout cas c’est bien agréable à regarder, surtout en extérieur ... merci bonne continuation.

I can see myself going there and getting stuck on one of the rappel down routes because me and my belayer are both down and none of us can do the slaby 8a boulder crux on lead :D
Study the routes, there are many lines next to each other. You can often rappel to a suspended jardin (garden) where you can join an easier route. You can also (sometimes) rappel to the bottom of the canyon and start the looooong hike out. Don't rappel down before you've studied your options. Most places your cell phone won't have service.

La mentalité du Parisien qui va jusqu’à enlever des points ou prises pour ouvrir des voies...
I think it was a common mentality at the time (not only in Paris). There were only few climbers and fewer hard routes than today, so there was a highly competitive atmosphere. I heard similar stories from other countries as well!

@Erratum I think it's more likely for skin protection...it's almost impossible to support the a4 pulley with tape

ce n'est vraiment pas une description que l'on peut associer à Seb... c'était à l'époque des Spé. une question qui ne se posait pas et heureusement que l'escalade contemporaine a évoluée sur ce sujet...
