Hi. I am using Blender 3.4.1. The fit to curve at 2:44 in the video only works if after rescaling the curve, I apply scale to the curve. Is this because of some behaviour change in the newer version, or am I making something different? I found that this apply scale trick helped for others as well in similar situation. Not a big deal, only a bit more work than what you had to do in the video.
Hi Can. Sorry, that IS 2.79, not 2.8. I created my own theme which looks like 2.8 and installed it. That way when I switch, it will be easier (I hope). Plus, I really like the 'less' busy GUI for 2.8. Here it is if you want to use it: filedn.com/lLMW4jXsJqxXkRYjd1UCoKL/3d/BlenderCW/cw28-3.xml
Hello, I have some questions.I`m studying background conceptart.I want to move the blender or moi 3d in a 3D coat for further modeling. I also haven`t ever been use moi3d but sometimes blender is using .By the way blender obj file into 3dcoat that model`s face is broke..Can you help me?blender`s model is made by boxcutter, hardops. (complexsible topology)Is it a problem because of topology?

After I added the hook, it was working fine. I will redo the whole sequence again from scratch tomorrow to see if I made something wrong.
Super interesting! Can this technique be used to dynamically scale the array objects as they're created also?
I believe so. You would just scale as opposed to drag the hook. You may also want to look at "Blender Drivers" as well.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Much appreciated :)
Are you going to use 2.8 in the future tutorials?

You'll want to make sure your object is manifold before exporting to 3DCoat. HTH
