- Jets reporter John Lu was joined by TSN Hockey insider Darren Dreger to get his take on the action-packed Game 1 clash between the Jets and Avalanche, and the outstanding performance by Jets captain Adam Lowry, who had two goals in the win.

Don't let up, Jets. Keep it tight and tighter.
All the expert analysis going into the first game was MacKinnon, MacKinnon, MacKinnon. If you watched the Av players and the Jet player they tried most to get off his game, their attention was on Lowry, Lowry, Lowry. If that continues, I really like the Jets' chances.
If Georgie keeps having a .700 save percentage then I like the jets chances lol. Jets have what it takes to beat the Avs for sure, but this time they got outplayed and got away with a lucky one playing vs a very, very cold goaltender
Focus on Lowry, that's what he wants.
One thing I really liked about the game is the refs did a good job of letting the players decide the outcome. Yes there were a couple of penalties that could have been non calls but ultimately the majority was fast paced 5 on 5 hockey.
Jets are elated by the win but I have zero doubt they know they need to tighten up their game. Avs playoff mode is formidable. This wasn't Jets A game and it needs to be going forward.
Avs had alot of motivation they got spanked 7-0 at home by the Jets lol
@@LGR0910 Even if both teams make adjustments the Avs still overwhelm the Jets offensively. Adjustments defensively and switch to Annunen in net, this series is very far from over.
@@-gumby-3381 Offence doesn't win cups Defence and goaltending does which the Jets have!!
@@LGR0910 What motivation did they have?
Colorado likely clamp down on defense, Winnipeg also need to bolster defense
Jets were fortunate to win game one. They were dominated and outshot much of the game. Avs out-worked Jets. Jets need to carry the play on game 2
The Avs also hung out Georgiev to absolutely dry. Av fans are convincing themselves that it was allllll the goalie’s fault, that’s what losers always do. The Avs gotta start playing hockey or they’re gone in 4
@johnkc4775 Yes, there were definitely some brutal defensive zone turnovers on both ends of the rink. While i am sure both goaltenders would love to have one or two of their goals against back. The defensive play overall was pretty absent. That was good old-fashioned barn wagon hockey.
Kevin Bieska ask fasiel kamiso if he likes Polestar or Tesla Elon Musk 😲😰😨😨😨😨😵😲🙄
Bad PK
Jets superior passing and scoring dominated struggling avs
What part of 6-7 struggling? The only thing struggling is your brain
Yet they only won by 1.
@@red3here yet they are 4-0 against the Avs 😂
@@LGR0910for now.
A win is when u lead at least a point. Same with all other sports 😂😂
Colorado put 6 in on the best goalie in the league. If they just stop the low slot passes from below the goal line then this series will swing for colorado. Jets won against the worst goalie in the playoffs.
Hellebuyck played like shit… He needs to step up… He’s clearly the best goaltender in this series
There's maybe one goal he'd want back, and it was that 5-hole squeaker.
The Jets were outshot 45-23. To say Helle played like shit is a load of absolute garbage, and you clearly weren't paying attention.
@@SaskTransfer Read my previous comments or shut the fuck up
Jets D have got to move the Avs forwards out from the front of the net ffs.
Put Laurent in goal tomorrow
