R.I.P. to Dean Stockwell, I enjoyed watching him on Quantum Leap as a kid in the 90's. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and fans alike. He is gone but will never be forgotten.
I sat on a plane next to Dean Stockwell once. He was lovely and shy. He lived a great life, RIP to him, and to all who have left us for the next quest🙏🏻
@@pauldavid8445 😭😭😭
Wow, what an opportunity. Even better, on a airplane. Have you seen/read The Langoliers?
he seemed shy even in interviews something you don't see a lot of with celebs .
Yes, Dean was in a class of his own. I wish I knew More about this actor. Where to look???
He was one of those character actors whom I always recognized and knew his name. RIP.
I watch Dean Stockwell’s childhood roles when I was a child and then his adult roles as an adult. Great actor! I will miss him. RIP
Rest in peace to my all time great actor,Dean Stockwell. I'd watched Quantum Leap every week, living here in Houston. And also in Houston, rest in peace to all the concert goers who had passed in the terrible tragedy.(I'm a man from Houston.)
I remember him in the film The Boy With Green Hair . Round about 1953, yes he was a great actor!
I didn’t know Dean Stockwell died!!!!!!! Oh man!!!! He was a great actor. Loved Quantum Leap.
R.I.P. Dean Stockwell.
I loved Quantum Leap!
Same here!. A acting career spanning 70 years should be saluted. Dean and Scott Bakula really made Quantum Leap highly enjoyable viewing.
Its in my top 3 all time shows!
The first film I saw with Dean Stockwell was “The Boy with Green Hair”. Now it would be considered pretty heavy handed but I remember being affected by it as a child.
The Boy with Green Hair. Love that movie. Thank you Dean Stockwell for so many memories.
Dean Stockwell, child actor, is no more. RIP, you were a wonderful child, and adult, actor.
Wasn’t bad on Quantum Leap either.
I got to work with him many years ago. Very quiet unassuming guy. Nice man
Dean, 85!! I can't believe it. RIP.
@@maryheydorff7973 you can tell how he was as a person by the tributes from his friends and people he worked with .
Dean Stockwell was a Very Good Actor , Many Roles and Very Underated , played the Parts just Rite , RIP SIR , Thank You
I first remember him from🌟Quantum Leap & past few years I’ve been studying Retro TV & I LIKE his 🤩young & earlier work!🤓🤩
If I remember right . He was in movie called The boy with green hair
@@debraseiber8820 I saw that movie too ! was he also in a Hitchkoc movie Rope?
@@debraseiber8820 He also played the crooked judge in John Grisham's The Rainmaker.
@@francescadeimel7394
No. He in Compulsion 1959. The movie was similar to Rope.
My rescue rat terrier, Jackie, died today, at the age of 22.
Rest in piece, my little wild man.
R I p Jackie and your rat buddies
I remember Dean Stockwell best for his childhood roles:
Colin Craven in 'The Secret Garden'
Kim in Rudyard Kipling's 'Kim'
and the pesky little boy Donald in 'Anchors Aweigh' with Gene Kelly & Frank Sinatra.
He was such a talented young actor - remembering so many lines of dialogue as a child must have been quite a job!
Best of all, he never descended into the downward spiral of substance abuse and poor financial management like many child actors, nor did he lose interest. He kept working pretty much all his life,& gave great pleasure to many people - including me!
Thank you, Dean Stockwell! We will love you forever. 💗🙏
exactly what I said he never had personal problems like so many others get into .
RIP Al Calavicci/Dean Stockwell! I must have seen every episode of Quantum Leap at least 3 times. Loved that show, love you! Your are one of a kind and will be missed
R.I.P. Dean Stockwell what a good actor!! my condolences to the family.
William Lucking ?! Nooo 😔 he was an amazing character actor with more than 160 film and Television credits under his belt , one flick that he was in that I remember fondly was "Extreme Justice" 👌🏻 .... R.I.P. William Lucking 🙌
I remember William Lu king from dozens of appearances in tv show and a few movies the one role that comes to mind when I see his picture. Is "Renny" from the Ron Ely Doc Savage movie it was very campy not a good movie for Doc but I thought that W.Lucking was the perfect casting for Renny.
What a rough week. Dean Stockwell, Jerry Douglas, and Graeme Edge will be so missed. RIP gentlemen; RIP everyone listed here.
"Rough" - If the only people we lose this year are random celebrities and not people we actually know and are in our lives - it will be a great year.
@@nealm6764 I've lost many people I actually know, and now I've lost some more people who touched my life in various ways. The fact that I did not know them personally is irrelevant.
How happy for you that you get your jollies by trolling comments about dead people. You must be sooooo proud.
@@TallyDrake The fact that I know and love people is relevant to me. sad it isn't to you.
Not trolling. giving some apparently much needed perspective in your grieving for people you never met or knew and who never really did anything to help you in your life, other than appear on your boob tube or radio.
Hug someone you know who is struggling , or a pet. these are hard times. Stop focusing on celebrities.
@@nealm6764 I am not grieving them. I'm not sobbing over my keyboard. I am sorry they are gone. Can you discern the difference? I am sorry they will make no more movies or TV shows or music. And yes, it is rough to lose so many at the same time.
Stop with the self-aggrandizment. You ARE a troll. You've trolled me before, in fact. Go preach your garbage in someone else's comment.
@@nealm6764 It is never good when anyone dies. Period. Because it's final and forever. Everyone has touched somebody's life in some way...we must remember that.
I really appreciate these videos because it keep up dated on those we have lost. Rest in Heavenly Peace.
The list is not complete.
Dean stockwell being apart of this hurts, he will always be remembered as a key role in my youth be being part of the best tv shows of all time not to mention the big time stuff he’s done before my time, dean is awesome!
I was a huge fan of Dean Stockwell. He hit close to home but RIP to all featured on this list ♥️
Hey, you. Whoever’s reading this, this is your sign. Everything’s gonna be okay. You did not come this far to give up. I believe in you.
Ditto😊
Thank you for your beautiful and encouraging message!! Right back at you!💖💖
Eh? 🤔
That's something we have on common, I believe in me too !
Thank you. 💗🙏
Omg Dean Stockwell. RIP.
I've recently rewatched 1984' Dune.
Also, one particular acting role in The Langoliers from Stephen King novel. He was brilliant.
Great childhood memories.
And RIP to all the people that died that we've never heard of but meant something to someone.
Thank you for that. Today is my dad's birthday, and I miss him.
@Darla Spurlding That is so cool! I never knew that.
@Darla Spurlding Dark Shadows
Dear Josette, I think we all miss our parents when they pass- especially us girls missing our fathers who loved and protected us if we were lucky enough to have loving parents. Don’t be too sad, it’s not goodbye, he knows how much you love and miss him, as he loves and misses you, but talk to him still, as I promise he hears you, and is always near by. I lost both my parents within a year of each other when I was 32, an only child with a baby of 18 months old. It hurts that they VVV were not physically here to enjoy him and his two brothers, but I then. Lost my middle son to cancer 2 years ago, and I know they are all together now and We WILL be reunited when it’s my turn. I realise now that we spend too much time grieving when life is so fragile, and should open our eyes to enjoy the world in all its glory while we can . I send belated birthday greetings to your father, and a BIG HUG to you. Try not to be sad. Nyou WILL see dad again I’m 109% sure! Love from Helen in U.K. 🙋♀️😘💕☕️🍰🥰💐🎄🎄🙏
Great actor with a very long career. Thank you, Dean. May he Rest In Peace.
Dean Stockwell the best child actor of all time. He said as a child “no one ever caught me acting”
I remember William Lucking played in a short live tv show The Outlaws in 1986. RIP🙏
I remember that show.
Enjoyed that show also
You forgot about Gavan O'herlihy who played older brother chuck from happy days. He was also in superman 3 and willow among other movies. He passed away 3 days ago. He was 70.
Oh my gosh I didn't know he died! I just watched an old video of the Happy Days 30 year reunion last night and he was on there. I had no idea he had recently died. 😢
@Movieman909. I agree completely!
I just looked him up and apparently he died on September 15, 2021. That was a few months ago, not days.... just clarifying.
@@juneberry1982 Where did you look him up? I watched a different video than this one, and that narrator said that he died a few days ago. If he had died in September, then we would have heard about it then.
@@lynettepalecek3141 Wikipedia, Deadline & People just to name a few. They all read that he died on September 15, but all reports have today's date on them. It's very strange that his September passing would just now make headlines. I don't know.
A great family film was The Happy Years with Dean Stockwell. It was about a spoiled boy learning about life and manners at a late 19th century boarding school. Dean gave a remarkable performance at 13 years old.
Dean Stockwell was my favourite actor. I'm so sad he is no longer with us. He will be missed. RIP Dean Stockwell.
RIP Dean Stockwell. He has taken the leap home.
I loved Quantum Leap. One of my all time favorite shows to watch.
@@tameramares5785 Ye-e-ah....I LOVED that show, too! Scott AND Dean!
Or he went home to his father, Yog-Sothoth.
@LogicianTenderstone Oh my Gosh! That movie scared me as a kid. I didn't realize that was him. He was so funny and handsome. I read that he was a really sweet person, too.
RIP I know he retired a few years ago, he’s in a better place.
Whether one is a Republican or Democrat, one has to admire the tenacity of Max Cleland! Murica!! 🇺🇸
Wouldn't it be nice if people could just be civil to one another, regardless of political ideologies? I'm so tired of the hatred and division. That is not what America is supposed to be about.
RIP Dean stockwell, great actor .from Chile 🇨🇱
Was he Latino I thought he was Italian?
@@mantenna1077 The post came from Chile...
Yes, Dean Stockwell was a Very Underrated actor. He was a great actor.
Thank you, Jerry Douglas for all the many years of entertainment on The Young & the Restless. You were the perfect tv Dad. RIP. 💞
Dean Stockwell was one of the greatest child actors of all time.
Loved Al and Ziggy on Quantum Leap. Was a fantastic show I never missed. Al and Sam were great together with the comedy. RIP in Dean - God Bless
That was my Dad's and my show. We watched every week.
Though the victims of the tragedy at Astroworld may not have been “stars” in the celebrity sense, they were “STARS” in every sense of the word to their family and friends. Thank you for including them!! 💖💖
Jack Palance was one great actor.. God Bless..
He was no match for Shane though.
czcams.com/video/V1l3TboL5MI/video.html
Like his 2 tv movies as Dracula and Dr. Jekell and Mr.Hyde both impressive performances and he got to be the titled star.
@Larry 306. I agree.

He was a great actor. RIP
RIP ASTRO, thanks for the music brother.
RIP Dean Stockwell. As a child in the 80s I got to know you through Quantum Leap. Since then, I've been blessed to see you in films and other TV shows. I've always loved your work. Rest Well, dear man.🙏🙏💖💖😘😘😢😢
Rest In Peace Graeme Edge. You were a great musician and will be remembered by your fans. Rest in Gods' hands.
This is the most names I've known since I started watching these videos. The second member of UB40 to pass this year. And Mr. Stockwell, I must watch an episode of "Quantum Leap" in his memory.
Who is the member to have died? I am not aware
Your videos are very tastefully done. They honor the memory of those lost to us.
" ... Cold-hearted orb that rules the night, and steals the colors from our sight; red is gray and yellow white ..." -- We miss you Graeme.
Sad to hear about Graeme Edge. Been a Moodies fan for over 40 years. R.I.P. Graeme!! Hope you're making beautiful music with Ray up there!
I was shocked to hear of the death of Graham Edge as I was recently watching a documentary about the Moody Blues of which I have been a life long fan. RIP Graham you will be missed.
I agree. The moody Blues are one of my favorite bands. RIP Graham
Dean Stockwell was deliciously creepy in Blue Velvet..he and Jack Nicholson are two who can play bizarre roles and the whole world still loves and respects them
Dang Gramme Edge died too? That makes only 3 original Moody's left. RIP
Brilliant band... Go Now was my favourite in the day
Can't believe that Astro from UB40 has gone. RIP bro, will be sadly missed and the others that have passed, arohanui to the whanau

I guess Dean Stockwell can't be in the Quantum Leap movie they're going to make one day. I'll miss ol' Admiral Calivicci.
This presentation was very well done; considerate, tasteful, and sober with excellent enunciation. Good job ...
Thank you for the respectful way you present the passing of these people.
BTW, the Department Of Veterans Affairs wasn't created until Reagan was President. Before that it was called the Veterans Administration.
Thank you for that bit of info. I never knew that.
The name has changed, the machinations haven't, still fighting them with a supplemental claim.
Thank you for this.

*good quote*
May they all rest in peace, 🙏 great video thanks 🖤
Quantum Leap was one of the most original shows to ever air on Prime Time. There have been shows with similar science fiction concepts but the morality and philosophy of the show made it pretty much a one of a
kind. Dean Stockwell was in a movie, I don’t know the name, where he played one of the killers Leopold and Loeb. It was quite a disturbing character. It’s gotta be pretty old.
Rest in peace 🎈
Mr Dean Stockwell une célébrité quesque j'ai aimé cette artiste reposé tous en paix 🙏🌹❤️
May they all Rest in peace. All of us who knew u for whatever reason, will miss u.🌹✝️🙏🏾💯

That's nice you mentioned people who have passed years ago.
Wallace and Gromit was the best cartoon ever!
I loved Dean Stockwell & Jack Palance. RIP
Not familiar with 'QL' as I was in college and so busy I barely had time to watch TV. To honour him, I'll watch the show. I remember him in 'Detained' on "Enterprise" .
When we see these wonderful people who have passed it reminds us of our own mortality. Love life embrace it and enjoy it for we are here such a brief time. RIP all who were mentioned in this presentation.
Dean Stockwell played in "The Boy With Green Hair".
Just saw a small snippet of it, scene where he hat his head shaved. So sad
Very nice, appreciate your work and your attention to a wide variety of individuals who have contributed to the world in so many ways, religious leaders, soldiers, politicians and celebrities in music sports and entertainment. Many are focused on the entertainment world but others enrich our lives in other important ways. Thanks
