My stepfather died on December 2 at the age of 64 due to cancer. He was a great man and helped me become the man that I am now, and I loved his sense of humor. He took me to a lot of football games and some baseball games when I was younger. I will never forget him.

Dr. Denmark lived in north GA. and died at the age of 114. No big observatory was made of her death, but then she wasn't a celebrity, politician, or socialist activist either.

Sadly, it was also announced today that actor/comedian Bob Saget of "Full House" fame has also passed away today at 65 years old. He was definitely one of the greatest TV dads of all time.

With the first year of Boomers reaching 75, look for a lot of second generation rock and roll performers and Silent Generation actors (born 1927-1946) to pass, having exceeded average life expectancy. Sad, but inevitable.

Tho she wasn't famous my daughter died January 4th 2022 at the age of 40. She developed an infection that ate away her muscles and internal organs. She my not have been important to everyone watching this but she was my rainbow child.
She was just as important as people who just happen to be famous. So very sorry for your loss, Jennifer.

@@jenniferkleczka2762 You're welcome, Jennifer. You loss is so recent that your pain may sometimes seem too much to bear, but the intensity of that pain diminishes over time. Remember the good times you had with your rainbow child, and keep in mind that it's not goodbye. It's see you later.
So sorry, P Jackson. Death is so final and that feeling of loss never goes away. If you feel like shouting or screaming to help cope, why don't you go and carve both your initials on a tree. Or write her a letter, put it in a tightly sealed glass jar, and bury it for some future person to find. That way she'll be remembered long after we've all gone.. As I said to Jennifer above, remember it's not goodbye, it's see you later. 🌹
I knew a lot of these iconic people growing up from Desmond Tutu John Maddon Betty White Dan Reeves Sam Jones just knowing they are gone brings me sorrow because I have great memories of these amazing people God speed and God Bless their families.

Perhaps it's because I was ill and in the hospital myself, but I was shocked to hear of the passing of Desmond Tutu for the first time. That's one of the many reasons I appreciate Legacy so much! Thanks.

Sidney and I share the same birthday. But I doubt we'll have matching lifespans. He lived a long, good life with dignity and respect.

The most shocking death in my opinion was Tiffany Hale. I grew up watching her on what was then the New Mickey Mouse Club and her transition from regular cast member to the pop music group The Party. She died aged 46, just two years older than me. I can't believe she is gone. I am shaken and forced to look closer at my own mortality.

Tiffini's mother recently revealed that Tiffini was diagnosed with schizophrenia in her early 20s and that is why she dropped out of the public eye. So very sad.

I remember him well, playing for Dallas. Even though the Vikings were my team, he was one of my favorite players.
I have his Cowboys football card
I remember a game against the Colts. Both quarterbacks for each team were injured. Reeves quarterbacked the Cowboys and a running back by the name of Tom Mattie quarterbacked the Colts. Neither one could throw the ball into the ocean. It was like watching a football game with two Tim Tebow's. Can't remember who won but it was a horrible game.
Baritone singer Carlos Marin of the group IL Divo passed away December 19, 2021. He had an incredible voice!

Bro anybody who doesn’t believe that age old saying that “death comes in 3’s” has gots to be a believer now. How’d we lose Betty white, Sidney poitier and Marilyn Bergman within, what? 3 weeks.. and they all died in their 90s
3 people in thier 90's dying in a short span of time is not a rare occurrence. There is no cosmic reason rather just the law of averages.

Tiffini Hale did 4 albums with The Party. She was also on The All New Mickey Mouse for Seasons 1-3, 7 as a cast member and season 4 as part of The Party. She was diagnosed with Schizophrenia in her early 20s. The Party was quite the teen pop group greatly overshadowed by the Mickey Mouse association and not being properly promoted.

When you see movies about WW2 the soldiers all look like they are in their 30s or 40s. When you see the real images, they all look so very young.

Almost all of the WW2 veterans are dead. When I was a little kid in the 1960s, they were a dime a dozen.
In about 15-20 years almost all of the Korean War vets will be gone; in 25-30 years al.ost all of the Vietnam vets will be gone. And in 35-40 years almost all of the Gulf War vets will be gone.
What Giants we lost these weeks may they Rest in Peace.
