- We had a chance to deliver some building materials to a beautiful off grid cabin on a rock island in Northern Saskatchewan. Caught and ate some fresh walleye and got into some sketchy situations lol. Hope you like the video.

I got one of the k-drill augers and use my m18 fuel drill, can use regular extensions with it. I've gone through 30" of ice with it no problem. Super light, packs away super easy, love it.

We go by there twice a year when we sled cross country from Pinehouse to La Ronge for the Stanley Mission poker rally and once again in March just to cruise with beautiful weather.

Yes it has a damper to direct into the engine bay or the cabin

Thats not pickerel its walleye part of the same family but total different taste Now the 3rd one close to the end was a jack or pickerel. But great video always enjoy watching.
You must be American because in Canada a pickerel is a walleye , the other one we have is sauger but they taste the same pretty much . I say American because I know Americans call northern pike pickerel
@@TwistyMcbudz no not American I'm from the east coast and lived in Alberta for 5 yrs. Walleye are in the same family as jack, pickerel , muskie but they have their designated names not just pickerel.
@@2CANSAM1970 I don't even know what a jack is lol. In Ontario walleye and pickerel are the same fish with a white tip on the tail fin , sauger is a smaller version of walleye with no white tip on fin and have black stripes or dots , they all taste the same to me . Don't quote me on this I could be wrong but I don't think so 🤣🤣🤣

@@2CANSAM1970 OK I had to Google it lol northern pike is same as Jack fish , what they were catching is walleye or pickerel its the same fish, that's why I knew you were talking about a pike because they definitely don't taste the same 👍
32:14 what was the sledders doing? Oh so cool driving fast on the ice beside the open water? If you don't have the stones just let it be and enjoy a nice coffee, don't try to man up then cave in at the very last bit and drive on the ice rather then skipping on the water. That is just sad.
I am surprised you don't use a Pintle style hitch for that kind of offroading.
Needed a drop hitch ot that trailer would have to be pointed upwards at quite an angle. Thw Sherp bumper sits very high
