He drove from Canada to Florida to do sick week and won his class in that event! Impressive..
I recall that. Impressive effort and a real competitor!
I hope no one in a 'Vette or Porsche was dumb enough to challenge him on some long truck-route stretch of highway on his way to Florida.
Rich is a true legend!
Rich is always killing it. Such an awesome ride and dedicated competitor
This is one of the greatest guys and stories in Drag Racing
Good take on building a car you enjoy driving 🙂
Always love watching seeing that GTO go down the track. Thanks for the interview!
Love the car and that infectious enthusiasm you have about the whole drag-n-drive scene 🙂
Have a safe week with many 8 second passes !
It warms my heart watching 2 classic mid-size muscle cars as they blast down the track 😎
And here I was thinking that I was the only one who used to own a factory Ford Hemi powered, 4 door, 5 speed '65 GTO. Small world!... lol. Seriously tho, congrats on making it to number 14.
Love the GTO. Good luck this year!
This guy is one of my idols .
Richard , you are awesome! Love the GTO, love that you drive the wheels off of it and race it as much as you can. You are a huge inspiration!!
What an awesome guy! Keeps me motivated to finish my build
" It was a four door with a Hemi " . 🤣🤣🤣
Rich is a Canadian Nation Treasure.
The GTO guy has my vote!
Love your GTO and the fact you use your car like I believe it was intended. What's the point if you can't enjoy it. Very nice!
Cool stuff 😎 👍. Enjoyed watching
CANADIAN CHUCK NORRIS
I love what you do.i have a garage queen.
Yeah Pontiac power. The way it is supposed to be.
Rich and Bill do these events in street cars and Rich has a LOT of miles to even get to Bills.
Very few cars get driven to the start let alone from Canada.
Pontiac is so limited on cylinder head. You can buy better SBC heads from Summit Racing than are available for a Pontiac. Sad but true. I run Kauffmans cylinder heads on my 474. Love Pontiacs & always will.
Wonder what his motor combination is what kid of heads.
IA2 block Edelbrock wideport heads
I’m impressed that the valve train holds up. Awesome stuff

How can a GTO weigh 4000 pounds!??. I had a 67 LeMans four-door sedan only weighed 3250 according to the title. my Dad's 65 Bellaire wagon weighed 3750, which is a bigger car than the GTO!! And his 68 Caprice 396 Big block only weighed 4200 lb!!
Parachute wiring roll bar all that shit adds up. Turbo piping etc etc probably has 2 fuel systems
@@philipmazzuca2269 yeah I didn't know he had a roll bar in it. I couldn't see.
Quit the blah blah and get on with it..,...
