  • Let my self clear service a m802 or v1401 planetary is not easy, so I don’t recommend do it yourself the purpose of the video is just to show a bit of the process and show you the components like gears and show you how everything looks inside.
    Thank you for watching .

Just FYI if you have a Hobart Saw pully and a bowl you can place 2×4s across the bowl and place. The saw pully on the 2×4s the agitator shaft will fit into the hole of the pully then you can slowly crank the bowl up.

Great videos, can you do a video talking about the brake system of a M802? I am repairing one but i am stuck with How it works

      Thank you
In regards of a video of your m802 brake it’s no too complicated is basically replacing the friction disc and the brake disc there are 2 black friction discs and 3 plates made of steel what I would do is replace all of them.
Now if with new disc still doesn’t brake the clutch also tension comes into play if not enough tension or too much tension in the clutch won’t brake my strong expertise are on smaller units I don’t do many m802 or 1401 but I’ll be rebuilding an m802 soon so I might make a video on that machine

Hey, I have a oil leak on top of the planetary extension on a v1401 I don't want to get into it until I know what I'm doing, I do HVAC/R so I work on kitchen equipment as well. I've looked up part diagrams and I can't see why it's leaking from where it is any advice

      Sorry for the late response
Is hard to know with out seeing it.
Now a few things to check first is the oil plug on the side of the planetary below the oil drip cup remove the plug if there is too much oil I’ll come out
This is what I would check first
Also if the leaking happens when the machine is running on high speed that’s a sign of too much oil on planetary
Next suspect would be transmission seals and O rings might have broken allowing oil to fill out the planetary with extra oil

@@calucoelsv well we found the drive gear for the oil pump in the transmission was broken off and we ordered the o-rings for the chimney and a new chimney seal

@@calucoelsv hey, it's me again. So seals didn't seem torn up, but we replaced them anyway, now after reassembly 3rd and 4th gears bind up after we tighten up the transmission cover.

Ese libro lo octuve de otro técnico
Están disponibles online pero ahora hobart ha hecho un poco mas complicado el acceso a los manuales
