New Multiplex Legislation 2024 (British Columbia)

New Legislation came into effect July 2 2024 and the result is sweeping density increases across British Columbia. Although we are still learning a lot about what changes are going to happen I wanted to give my initial response to what could happen moving forward and who this will affect the most.

The regional district of Nanaimo prevents people from building a second or third dwelling on an acre of property.

Reckon this is just government giving back property rights the cities should never have taken in the first place.
