You are a great teacher
Those corners are SCARY
Never done upholstery ever in my life. But I try to tackle a personal project, and I must say that every time I have a question, your videos are my go-to. So informative, very helpful and the outcome is alway elegant. Thank you so very much for sharing. :)
You are a great teacher! I have so much confidence now I think I can recover my slipper chair myself!!!! Thank you!
I just finished two chairs and a bench and could not have done it without watching this while working! Thank you so much!
The Best reupholstering video! Explanatory without being verbose along with tips explaining details. Great Show and Tell for either visual or auditory learners!
Thank you SO much for this post! Because of this video I upholstered my chair for the first time!
Newly retired and thought I would try my hand at re-upholstering our kitchen island chairs. Your videos have been great in helping me learn the techniques. 4 down and 2 to go. I particularly had issues with the oval chair back and working from the top and bottom to the sides but your method worked much better.
Thank you so much! I wish i had found this before i made that one dreadful cut i had to stitch back together. I couldn’t believe how well it all fit together.
You made this look easy! I'm going to give it a try on our dining chairs. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this easy to understand, comprehensive tutorial!
Omg! Thank you so much!! I needed to see how to measure the fabric to upholstery my dining chair!!
I really appreciate your video and willingness to share your knowledge!! I learned a lot!
I have the same kind of chairs! Hope they will turn beautiful with your help!
Love it! 👏🏼🙌🏼💙
Been looking to restore my breakfast room table and your tutorial is so easy. Can't wait to do my chairs. Thank you.
Done my first chair, thank you so much for your help! Brilliant
Thank you for this tutorial! I can't sew, so this is a perfect tutorial to show how to cover my parsons barstools.
Hi Amy
I’m really enjoying your upholstery lessons. I’ve just started having a go at upholstery (after 30 years as a builder ) your you tube tutorials are very helpful and explained well. Thank you. Look forward to watching some new ones soon?
Martin from the uk 😀👍✂️
Ur video and how clearly you guide and tips are just SUPER AMAZING!!! TQ SOOO much!!
Awesome job. Experience is definitely a plus in performing all those cuts for sure. I may be looking a trying some of this on a similar chair but with small wings. I will see if you have one showing how to deal with those. Thanks again Aimee. Great teaching.
Am I the only one that held my breath when she used the staple gun! My goodness, that looked so close to your thumb! lol Great video! Just what I needed! :-)
Amy you know your craft what made you get into upholstery
- The tips alone have been invaluable. Thanx.

When I first looked at the Parsons chair video I was interested in how to cut the fabric for the front pleats. I missed your back leg cuts. Watched the whole thing and now done 6 chairs. Double piping starts today. Brilliant video and thanks so much for your help and knowledge transfer.
Excellent tutorial clear instruction perfect results, Thank You
Excellent presentation! Exactly what I wanted to do to my 4 parson chairs. Thank u so much.

You have me ready! Thanks for the great video!
You are an artist and a genius!!!! Looks fantastic! I will be doing this for the FIRST time today...after watching your tutorial, I think I have a fighting chance . Thank you for your clear and patient teaching skills. You are appreciated.
Felicitaciones por su trabajo, muy buen tutorial, es mi pasatiempo favorito la tapicería.
I am an interior designer and I have no idea how upholstery is actually done at the “backend “ so it great to see this. Thank you for sharing your video and your KNOWLEDGE!!
what do you think about this chair design? i really don't like it. it looks basic and it's not pretty and on top of that it seems to be more complex to work with than others. uses a lot of fabric for the back part and there's no real benefit because of it. when you handle the chair you will grab on the fabric and the fabric only helps with holding on to dirt. it's more difficult to clean than wood. seems like no upside to this design.
OMGGGG I nvr glued to a instructional video as I did yours!! You are going to save my life cuz my in-laws asked me to help to upholster their barstool that looked exactly like yours 😅 after seeing I did mine on a totally different barstool
Thank you very much, I enjoyed watching your videos (part I and part II). I was impressed how you make it look easy. I've watched a lot of videos on this subject, but yours, without a doubt, is the best. The end result is beautiful. My English is not good, but with the support of the images it was enough to understand (and I think I learn). Thank you!
Thank you for your lovely comment!
Awesome and inspiring instruction. Thanks for the help. I am planning on doing my dining room chairs that have the same frame as this one. I love the look of the tufted back on the chair but I’m a little afraid it might be too complicated for a newbie like me. I would love if you did a tutorial on the tufted back chairs. Thanks
GREAT tutorial! I've scowered CZcams looking for good upholstery videos and noone has explained it with as much detail as you. I had so many uncertainties before that you entirely cleared up. Its clear you really know what your doing. Thank you so much for making this video!

I've just discovered your channel. Thank you for such a well paced, detailed video (along with your pleasant demeanor). I've subscribed! Would be nice to someday see a video about your Singer. What a powerhouse machine! I now feel confident enough to upholster my Parson chairs. Thanks again🙂.
Thank you!
Fab tutorial! More please
On your wingback chairs I asked about cutting around post but as I'm looking at this Parson chair I got my answer so you don't have to respond to the other one this was a good example of how to fit around the post I don't know if I'm secure enough to use a Sharpie I might use chalk because I don't want to mess up by material but this was a very good example how to cut around the post thank you
Excellent job! I already viewed 3 of your videos. You really are talented and a great teacher.
+Thank you for your support, Azeemah Kaleem! I appreciate it so much!
You Welcome!
You did great
Thank you for the video
great job...Thanks a lot
Remarkable vedio. Very well done. I'm about to redo my parson chairs. The material is still good. But one coshin got snagged. I love the material. But I can't find the same style to replace just the damaged one. So I'm just going to recover all them. Beside the table I'm doing in black base with title top. And a decorative center tile. Which is gray, tan and gold. So I'm going the chairs in a gold striped print. I can't wait to get it all done. I show you the pics if you like
You make it look so easy. I’ve just bought some material to do my chairs. I was going to buy new ones, but my cat 🐱 has destroyed the leather on the backs so no point in paying a fortune for chairs. I’ve bought my cloth for 55£. So not bad. Thank you. I’m going to follow your instructions. Xx
Patricia Kelly same here, my cat just loves using the sides of my chairs as a scratching post 😹😸😹🙀
professional not like some I have been watching well done!
+Thank you, simply_enchanting!
This was awesome.
Best video. Thanks
Você é show, trabalho com perfeição. Adoro você!
Obrigada! 😊
Absolutely lovely. Best video ever. 😍
Thankyou for sharing in detail.I am 35 and looking to start getting into woodwork going to try and self teach myself and upholstery is going to be needed.as i want to try and make puffes ottamans for the kids bedrooms.I would absalutely love to see an indepth video on how to do the pleated patterned vertions where you have to cut the holes out in the sponge and add the button.I really hope this make sence as i truly am just starting to get into all this from watching so many woodworking vids over the past couple of months.luckily my hubby did carpentry many years ago so can help along the way in my woodwork projects even though he will be having to refresh his memory along the way whilst helping me.
I have a video for tufted backs. Hope you find it helpful!
